I think you are blocking Zoom invites. Please stop!
I sign up to a number of webinars, but I never get the Zoom invite in my ymail email. If I use a different (gmail!) address it works just fine. I think my Ymail account may have become obsolete. Gmail here I come.

Ridiculous recaptcha
Your recaptcha is ridiculous. I had to go through at least 9 screens to access my email today. Of course, I also had to approve my sign-in with a mobile phone alert, as well. Security should not require both of those in addition to a password. I am ready to switch completely to gmail - after using yahoo for decades.

Remove "Gift card" notifications
I have had a notification for a CVS Gift Card for over a week that I can NOT get rid of in my Android ap. If I hide it, it comes right back. No matter what I have done with it, including collecting it, it comes right back, above the usual ad in the ap. VERY Frustrating. May have to switch to GMail as my major contact method after so many years of Yahoo Mail.

Settings to change name do not change email settings for such; some help pages do not tell the solution
Settings to change name do not change email settings for such; some help pages do not tell the solution.
The problem: I needed to change the name that appears in messages I send using Yahoo webmail interface.
The "obvious" solution that I tried: in the page where I see my inbox folder, I opened the account settings, changed my name, surname, and even tried the nickname (which I did not even used before!). Nothing changed. Refreshed all pages. Logged out and in again. Cleared all cookies and site data before logging in again. The unwanted name stayed there.

I would like to know why Yahoo is not doing its job of preventing hackers from getting into our email??? When I first signed up with you (many years ago) You use to stop unwanted mail and now you are trying to force us into paying you in order to stop unwanted mail. I think you let us all down YAHOO!

Add Spell Check to Yahoo Mail.
Yahoo Mail should have a spell check feature. I'm not the world's beat typist or speller. But I write a lot of emails. I could make very good use of a spell checker and I'm positive there are other who can/will use it.

Outlook continually requires logging in now
Something changed recently with accessing Yahoo mail from outlook. Now I am continually hounded for a user name and password. It's no more secure than previously - may even be a little less secure. It is clogging up outlook and making a big nuisance of itself.

The 'NEW MAIL' is a catastrophe!!! I have MANY COMPLAINTS, but, this will not allow me to say all I have to say!! It ALL STINKS!!
Put it back the way it was prior to this CATASTROPHE!!! Also, the SPAM has completely taken over since it cannot be blocked. I'm talking about things like GROW HARDER AND LONGER, WOMEN SQUIRTING, ECT, ECT. I am so SICK of this ****!!!

old email mailbox
YAHOO deleted old emailbox from the past. This is a theft of personal informations stored in OLD MAILBOXES. I am sure that YAHOO kept old messages of those who haven`t sighn in for years.

Filter out Spam
I keep getting spam where the subject line is full of strange characters, or has no content. How is it that such obvious spam is getting past the filter? Also, when I mark a message as spam, don't offer to unsubscribe - that just tells spammers that they have found a legitimate address.

Community guidelines
I would like to know how the simple two word response "Why not?" to the question "Ok, why? is a violation of the guidelines. It was a simple rhetorical response frequently used in philosophy classes.
Hi. While we cannot speak about specific comments, policy interpretations, or actions action in relation to specific comments outside of with their original poster, we seek to apply the Yahoo Community Guidelines as evenly, fairly, and objectively as possible.
