  1. NEED OPTION TO DELETE STORED HISTORY OF RECENT ACTIVITY

    Hi, this is about one's Yahoo Account Info/Recent Activity (accessed from upper right menu in Mail)

    Most important, need option to delete stored history under Yahoo Account Info/Recent Activity

    I see it stores activity indefinitely, going back a decade in my case

    Nobody likes private history stored indefinitely on server w/o their control of the data

    In addition, though this feedback related to Mail thru the menu, on the https://help.yahoo.com/kb/account page, there should be added a new feedback button more specific to Yahoo account features

    For security reasons, it isn’t possible to update or change the date of birth listed on your Yahoo account, even if you entered it incorrectly when you first registered your account. You’ll need to open a new account if you’d like your account to reflect your accurate info.

  3. STOP BUGGING ME about LastPass

    Every time I open my Yahoo mail I get a pop-up nagging me to try a 30-day trial of LastPass. I already have a LastPass account, so STOP ******* BUGGING ME.

  4. phone app

    The new phone app takes forever to load on my Galaxy 7 and when it finally loads, the messages are 5 hrs old. To get new messages, I have to constantly swipe from the top down, wait for the circle, then finally I can get a message that is recent. I would like my old app back please. Also, there is no HELP in the app on the phone.

    Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If the issue persists, try switching from WiFi to Mobile data. If you still see loading issues, please use the “give feedback” option in the app (tap on your profile picture and scroll a bit down) to send this to our engineers directly.

    here is my issue last year my ex girlfriend put a account key pass on my old phone which at this time i no longer have that phone or phone number i am trying to get in my old email account i talked to one of those get human people how the **** am i suppose to remember what i put on my old email account profile this suck because i need to get a couple of things off of there then i am going to delete that account and keep my current one so if you have any ideas…

    Please try the following:
    1. clear browser cache and cookies
    2. disable ad-blocker
    3. update browser or make sure you have the latest version
    4. try a different browser.

  8. Prove you're not robot

    Why you would need to prove you're not robot, from a private verified location for a long ttime, used only for one id..? And, that too on a very first try with one id..??
    You would throw this check only multiple (so many) ids used from a same location, and that too from a public, or unverified location..!!!

  9. Where is the customer support?! bye yahoo, hello gmail!

    So you cannot get ANY assistance from Yahoo now without paying them money?? No thank you. I cannot get into my email, which I need to be able to do to access my bank account. You want to take money from me just to talk to someone. I've tried to send an email or contact customer service any other way but I am unable to do so unless I sign up for the pro service. Absolutely absurd! Save yourself the trouble and switch to gmail.

    They close out every complaint about this as "reviewed" and I have seen no solutions…

    We’d love to offer free phone support to everyone, however, free phone support is an expensive service to maintain for a free service. Most free email providers do not have any option for phone support. We care about our users, and wanted to be able to have phone support for those who want the live agent experience, and have worked hard to put together a plan that has value for everyone in order to achieve that.

  10. Please keep groups live whilst modifying system

    I've just posted to a group I use regularly- and received a msg saying it doesn't exist? I recall that you are updating groups at the moment and advised down loading- but now means I can't contact the group...

    Since Yahoo doesn’t operate or maintain any groups, you’ll want to email the group’s moderator or owner with any questions.
    Send an email to groupname-owner@yahoogroups.com (replace “groupname” with the exact name of the group).

  11. limit login by location

    Limit login by location. I keep getting emails from people all over trying to login to my email. Cant do anything about it. Make it so only in my current location I can login, otherwise completely blocked unless I activate it.

    Hello there,

    We’ll send a verification code via text message/email when you create a Yahoo account or make security changes to an existing account. You’ll need to enter the verification code when prompted to confirm your account or changes.

    If you received a verification code but didn’t create an account or make security changes, then someone else mistyped their number and accidentally used yours. Don’t worry, they won’t be able to move forward with your mobile number because they don’t have possession of your phone to get the verification code.

  13. Item hard to delete from the moblie.

    Dear Sir,

    When i delete the mail from the desktop it is deleted from the both desktop as well as but when i deleted from mobile it is deleted from the mobile but it is not deleted from the desktop.

  16. I am having trouble changing my birth date it has 1975 which is wrong . I need to change the year.

    you need to fix it where if someone made an mistake on the year of their birthday they can edit it and fix it.

    Hello there. The option to edit your birth date is not available. You can always register a new account at mail.yahoo.com and make sure to add your correct information to it.

  17. Don't read my emails, Yahoo (Oath)!

    I read your new terms, and I am so disappointed. I will be moving all of my email services away from Yahoo because you say you will now be going through all of my emails on all of my devices. If you don't change this policy, you will go bankrupt soon... idiots.

    Driving me nuts! LOCKING ME OUT OF MY E-MAILS, asking me for a mobile phone number, 'so that you can recover your account', It asks me to add a number to continue. There is no option to skip this.
    i DO NOT HAVE A PHONE, I DO NOT WANT ONE.
    i CANNOT GET TO MY E-MAILS BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS TRYING TO FORCE ME TO GIVE A NUMBER THAT I DO NOT HAVE. 'dummy' numbers do not work, 'old/alternative' numbers does not work as it says its sent a 'verification code' to the number THAT i DO NOT HAVE ACCESS…
