ads feedback
Same ads display over and over again, although i reported those ads as offensive / inappropriate / misleading / etc. There are some of the worst ads on yahoo mail: wild animals in chains with dudes in cars, some famous actors caught in funny moments and with inappropriate titles, provocative pictures with misleading titles, etc.
1) either you refine your ads considerably
2) either you make the report functionality to really work; right now it's obvious it's a fake, you report the ad and the same ad is being displayed imediately. -
My email has my mother's name and birthday and you will not let me change it or tell me how it happened
Why does my email have my mother's name and birthday instead of mine and I cannot change it, your customer service cannot answer. They tell me to delete it and create a new email. I cannot do this, it was transferred over to Yahoo from Cox Cable. I need the ability to edit ALL of my information.

I did not ask for my email to transfer to Yahoo from Cox cable, now I have the basics with ads when I had full blown Outlook with all option
I don't want ads, I also want my emails in Outlook that I paid dearly for with Office. I didn't ask for my email to be transferred to Yahoo, nor did I want it.

protection premium
I lost my account over the weekend and I was told over the phone I HAD to subscribe to Yahoo Protection Premium (I didn't want to do that but she wouldn't help me otherwise.) I was charged for it but I can't find anywhere to go to cancel it. It should come up under your settings. Really anywhere is better than wherever it is. I was scammed. $14 a month to basically just be treated better over the phone is nuts.

SPAM "sender names" all start with weird characters. Please block or catch them.
Block all the senders that have an = + | etc... as their sender name or start of their subject line. These are prolific!

You need some way to report suspisous emails outside of premium service. Preventing this is just as harmful to your premium clients.
I received a suspicious looking email from yahoo, and have no way to report it. This feedback feature is the only way I have found to even mention it outside of premium service. I am not paying for a premium service to warn yahoo that customer base might be under attack.
Preventing us from reporting suspicious emails hurts your premium members as much as it hurts the rest of us. -
Restore Deleted Emails After Inactivity
Many people are upset that you've deleted all of their emails after 12 months of inactivity. My account was started in early 2000s and I had a medical emergency where I was unable to use the account.
It would have been better for you to charge users a reasonable fee to restore their emails rather than destroy decades of memories and personal information.
After you destroy the emails, there is no reason left for potential customers to pay for additional services. They will hate everything about Yahoo afterwards and not visit any of your websites. This was not a good…

Please make it possible to sort by sender.
Please make it so you can sort your email by sender. It makes it much easier to delete junk mail by going to all the junk mail from a particular sender and deleting it quickly.

Block "Valued Post"
This looks a lot like spam.
Additionally, I am not interested in opening such emails.
Functionality to block these should be available. -

Not save emails auto-fowarded to those with a paid subscription
In most email services, there is a facility to have emails that are forwarded automatically NOT be retained. Especially in the paid subscription it seems this should be an option. Please add this so that we no longer have to monitor 2 separate email services

Stop posting political ads! I understand that a free service is entitled to sell advertising space to cover costs. But you should NOT serve as a forum for political causes. It is very offensive.

turn off recovery accounts
How do I turn off recovery emails. This is a throwaway email address. I hate using the recovery email address and phone number. If I can't get into it, so be it! I don't need the recovery email.

Maintain focus on current message in Inbox.
When I read an email, then hit <esc> to go back to the inbox, the focus (highlighted message) in the inbox has changed. It would be nice if the focus remained on the most recent message I opened, so I can quickly hit delete. Instead, today I occasionally another message by mistake, because the focus has changed.

Would like to know why when I'm in ALL MAIL that when I want to save a particular email to another named folder it actually duplicates the same email and that email stay's in the folder I want to move it from.
