    I don’t understand. I’m in tears. ALL of my emails are completely gone. Even archived ones. My old phone broke with my passwords, and was unable to get on my yahoo and hotmail. Life happens. I never received any type of warning/notification or anything. However, my Hotmail/outlook is fine although the timing was the same as yahoo. How can you do this to people?!     If this does not apply to you, You can try doing a search or doing an email restore if the email was deleted in the past 7 days.

    In case you are using a mail client such as Outlook or the Native mobile app, emails may be deleted by that third party client. We do recommend accessing your mail via http://yahoo.com or the Yahoo Mail app to avoid this issue.

    If you’re not getting emails from a specific sender, it may be because they are sending to the wrong address or they are getting an error message when sending to you. If this is the case, you will need to have them reach out to our Postmaster department to try and get it fixed. You can also double-check your Mail settings and Spam folder to make sure everything looks good there.

  5. If I wanted to use an app, I would download the app. Remove the pop up for every time I check my mail asking me to use the app!

    Add a click box to "don't ask again". I will finally stop using yahoo if I have to click off of a pop up every time I check my email without using an app

    If your mailbox is empty and it has been a long time (12 months or more) since you last accessed your mail account, it may have been deleted due to inactivity. More information can be found here:

  10. Delete emails

    I like so many other yahoo email users are extremely irritated 😤 that i cannot delete all my emails in bulk! The old Yahoo mail you could delete one email at a time or all emails at once. I currently have over 2400 emails! Yahoo you need to correct this ASAP! 😒

  15. Nope not verifying my ID again Yahoo

    Your sign in verification is ridiculous and should be more like Gmail. To discouraged use of the mobile site Yahoo apparently requires ID verification every... Single time you log in?? Input a six digit code every time?? Cmon Yahoo it's me!

    Also every time I close out of a tab or delete an email it closes the whole site and guess what?? ID verification time!!! No wonder everyone switches to Google!

  17. Stop sending emails I have not marked as spam to my spam folder

    My work emails suddenly started going to my spam folder. I did not click then as spam. I have repeatedly marked them as not spam and they continue to go there.

  18. Pls help retrieve my mail account

    I have been using yahoo mail for a long time now until recently when I forgot my password for my email account iminiv@yahoo.co.in and for it's backup account. I created this new id so that my old account can be retrieved. My active account is mini.iyer28@gmail.com and mini.iyer28@yahoo.com pls help in resetting my account password.

    Many messages coming as spam repeatedly. Although marked as spam they come in my Inbox again & again. What can I do?This is ridiculous.

    Keep in mind the following points:

    - Yahoo’s Spam filters take precedence over any filters or blocked addresses set up on the account. This means that when an email is deemed as Spam, it will go straight there.

    - When you mark an email as Spam (or not Spam), Yahoo will deliver emails from that email address based on what you clicked. Marking mail as Spam or Not Spam is a strong signal to our system when determining whether other emails should be sent to Spam or not. It’s best to mark emails from the web version of Yahoo or using the Yahoo Mail app to make sure the system gets the request.

    - If you reply to a message, the sender’s address will be placed in the Address Book, making it more likely that their emails will be delivered to the Inbox in the future.
