Get an editor who can read and understand English grammar... please!
Dear Yahoo,
Please get an editor who actually proof reads. One who can prove to have a good command of the English language because the **** I read on here us just shameful. Give me the job. I will gladly do it for much much less than what you are currently paying.
Our editors work very hard to catch mistakes before they hit the web. However, with all the content they regularly publish to the page, they do occasionally miss some. We are sorry that this one slipped through but we are very grateful to you for pointing it out to us.
Please report this article and future ones at corrections@oath.com

On second thought I have decided I will find a different new outlet online and not return to yahoo. So make all the errors you like.

The grammatical errors on Yahoo make me sad for the next generation. If this is the best a college education can produce, then the system has failed. One writer keeps using &aposs in the place of was and it is so annoying that I immediately stop reading their article.

Fire all your writes. They are stupid and need to go back to writing and grammar school

Why is Yahoo using alternate spellings for many words, rather than American English? Words like centres vs centers, programme vs program, realise vs realize, colour vs color, standardise vs standardize, organise vs organize, etc. Fix the spelling. It's in articles from different authors and different publishers. What's the deal?

The writing for these articles contain atrocious grammatical and spelling errors. Editing and revision is highly recommended, as it is difficult to read a serious or biased article with a strong stance about any world issues when a professional journalist cannot execute appropriate and basic writing skills.

Maybe invest in one investigative reporter/writer. Investigate the heck out of one story and write about it. Right now the writing here is very elementary.

Proof read your darn story headlines. Mistakes all over the place everytime. Spelling, wrong word usage, etc, etc. Can't take your site serious if grammar mistakes are an everyday thing. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

I don't understand how articles get posted with so many embarrassing errors?

Firstly, sack your editors. Some of the spelling & grammar in these articles is appalling. The larger issue however is the horrible consistency with which articles are titled "World erupts over never before seen ...". Sensationalist titles (predictable) don't get clicks & won't improve your ad revenue. For God's sake just employ some more creative, talented writers.

I could do better than your current editors, I’m embarrassed for Yahoo with all of these typos and spelling errors.
Call me, I can help.
