Support your customer and return comments. I think we should set up a time and all boycott this site if they do not return our right to comment on these articles which most are just someone's opinion or comment. Let's pick a time.

The message in your reactions/comments section has been (yawned at) seen enough. If Yahoo, its employees, it's sponsors, and anyone else who thinks they have "cancel culture sissy power" want to keep rocking on like this, it's just sad. You post "articles" 🤣🤣🤣 with comments/reactions, but You, Yahoo uses that as click bait bs...It's really sad, wish GOOGLE'S punk@$$ had articles and comments, they are MISSING THE CLICK OPPORTUNITIES!

I can’t remember, but how long has Yahoo! been censoring News, facts, & their users opinions? I think it’s been 10 months, but my friend said it’s only been 3 or 4. We have a cash bet going on, so please let us know so we can settle this argument. Thanks!

Read it again, and again. Then look in the mirror and "try" to be honest, as in if you have kids being raised in the real world, which happens to be REAL

We The People (this includes you too) are slowly having our rights taken and it would seem the press of Yahoo is now joining the Gov't by no longer allowing The People to comment on their articles. Freedom to comment was a great part of reading Yahoo's articles. Having taken that freedom away Yahoo is condoning the Gov't censorship. Or Would Yahoo consider the comment section a privilege for The People to voice their opinion and not a right to do so? Yahoo gave Us the right to comment on their articles and subsequently has taken it away while disguising it as privilege.

So if we read what Yahoo has put across the media which is only their opinion, then it’s only fair that we the readers of this one sided news media should be allowed to voice our opinion. Which shows me that we should not waste another minute reading what they have to say. It’s usually constant Trump bashing and what a celebrity might be wearing for the day. If yahoo wants us to read their news? Then they should take some time to be more intelligent and put together a real story that matters to the American people that are facing job loss business closings and what our government is doing to correct the problem? You can blame Trump and COVID-19 but the truth is this country needs to come together and work this mess out as a whole and once that happens then we can become that strong America 🇺🇸 we once were.

There is an obvious liberal bias in how these articles are developed. I say this as someone who’s not even a conservative or Republican. There is nothing wrong in a balanced, if not actually objective, reporting. Unless Yahoo clearly admits where their leanings are then what is put out is insincere. Furthermore, if comments cannot comment there should be more than one point of view on the topics so that we can trust your material and not be alienated but simply engaged to make an informed decision. Anything less, then every article should be labeled an Editorial, which it is.

Nothing as dangerous as people who believe they know & understand BUT DON'T. Ignorance, noise & opinion. More wrong, more vociferous.
Understanding the First Amendment & its application is fundamental to understanding Democracy, America & the seperation of public & private spheres. Basically Americans freedoms versus state control. PATRIOTS WILL GET IT RIGHT. Socialists, fascists, communists will get it wrong but believe they got it right. Socialists believe business serves the government. Not it's clients.
Understanding the First Amendment.
First Amendment states:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. That means government shall not restrict free discourse or opinions. Protects various forms of political speech, anonymous speech, campaign finance and school speech.
The Free Press Clause protects publication of information and opinions, and applies to a wide variety of media.
Key term "congress". First Amendment applies only to state actors. DUMMIES think it prohibits anyone from limiting free speech, including private, non-governmental entities. It doesn't.
Yahoo is a privately owned entity. It owes the public nothing. To be successful in the marketplace, it must provide a product or service that has value to its clients/customers for which they will expand their limited resources. Definition of Capitalism or Free Enterprise.
It's Yahoo's platform, they aren't obligated to the user except in the terms set forth in the Customer Agreement/Contract/Policy.
Because you want to propagate nonsense & act informed about things of which you know nothing is not a reason for Comments to be available. Feel free to start your own platform, cry like a baby, continue being wrong or be a DUMMY.
Please, for those who correctly understand censorship & the Constitution, your silence would be a blessing. -

Well it's been almost a year since you decided that you had to disable the comment section for "safe" and what ever claptrap PC off base shyte you felt you had to put up to cull the masses. Why didn't you just have the balls to tell the truth you're not ever going to bring them back. Or if you do it be under a socialist regime where the government tell you what you are told what you are going to put up.

I’ve been going to AOL since they have comments but a lot of the article links point to annoying junk websites that make you click through pages to read a full article. Please bring back comments!

Americans expressing their opinions is one of the most important freedoms in our country. Yahoo is a public space, so turning opinions off would go against the Constitution. So, any company that doesn't believe in the American Constitution, should not be allowed to operate in America. Also, they shouldn't be allowed to have any products in America.

You not allowing people to respond while posting only views that you guys personally support and limiting articles to only those you personally support violates freedom of speech. You also practice false advertisement by presenting only articles you view as "accurate" politically but those same articles provide no actual proof of its claims plus these articles are all only one sided from a liberal stand point and does not represent an unbiased point of view which is where the discrimination comes in. Discrimination laws also include political views and you violate them by only allowing liberal minded articles while also preventing anyone from commenting to correct many of the assumed and unverifiable points of view your articles contain. You then also make claims of "inaccurate" information to justify not sharing anything but liberals minded media but then have tabloid articles that everyone knows is full of **** and very much opinion based and inaccurate. So why is it ok to share real inaccurate stuff like tabloid articles but then not a conservative point of view. This violates constitutional laws and discrimination laws and is actually the definition of psychological warfare. If this keeps up people will stop using your services in place of ones that are more upstanding. I perso ally find it offensive for you to be violating my rights to read unbiased material from all points of view rather than your hand picked articles designed to manipulate and influence the minds of the readers rather than just plan and simple information and letting the readers choose for themselves.
