I dont understand why you are using 2009 as the year to start to use rankings from. some of my best seasons are before that, use ALL seasons
Use all the seasons people played yahoo fantasy baseball, not just a random year of 2009, it makes literally zero sense
Maybe it's a matter of politics. Could be coz Obuma wasn't prisidentei b4 '09.... just a thought lol

I believe 2009 was the first year for free stat tracker - you had to pay for it otherwise wait until the following day to see the results. probably has something to do with it.

How bad do you need validation from an irrelevant, meaningless rating system such as this one?

I'd love this. I stopped playing fantasy baseball in 2009 (too much daily time); I'd love to see how my 2004-2009 run (2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 1st, 1st) in a 20-team league - along with a few single-season runs with mixed success - stacked up on this scale.

*ALL Seasons should be reflected, but not across all leagues? Tailor to the individual yahoo league at hand. Some leagues are more competitive than others.
Yeah, I had a 1st place finish in 2007, the first year our league played, and a 2nd place finish in 2008. Neither count. Why not? Some players have come and gone, but I’ve been the same team name ever since we started. I’ve had a couple wins in another league, also, that do count. Older wins should definitely count.

eddie, what have you done for me lately
I agree. My rating since that yr is 913 in Diamond area but Ixm sure it'll be much higher if previous seasons are included. That is, as long as it is based on the H2H game. In roto for some reason I stopped kicking buttt a couple of years ago. Can't win a **** roto league anymore lol! But in h2h things are still sweet.
Please include pre-2009 H2H leagues too if it is possible.

This is well said: 2009 is an arbitrary, asinine cutoff. Why not reward the longstanding, loyal participants to Yahoo fantasy sports by counting all their statistics? Or at least provide a persuasive reason for the confusing decision.

I agree with the idea above- all records should be included/reflected in the rankings. Lots of leagues have traditions which include the same members and they go back way before 2009- the rankings should be consistent with participation since inception. That said, the ratings idea is a great one, just needs some tweaking. Thanks!
