Spam folder -- bad change
In newest version of Yahoo mail, the number of Spam in the folder is gone. You can only see if you have spam by hovering over the folder. Waste of time. Why not just have the number next to the folder like you used to, so you know if you have spam.

The new version's FONT looks childish unlike the classy, classic version. Please allow the old version please.
The newest Yahoo mail really does look childish especially the FONT. The older Classic view's font and set-up felt more professional unlike this newer version. IDK, maybe thats your point, you're trying to attract a much younger audience like 5-12 year old. They'll love the new look of the newest Yahoo format.

New Yahoo mail is ****. Give us back the good old version.
New version is ****. Ever since you got bought out/merged/whatever the user experience has gone way down hill fast. I would hate to close my email out since I've used this for long time but if the user experience keeps getting worse I will be forced to change.

Post how I can back to yahoo basic or yahoo classic -- we do NOT like this new yahoo. Going to 'settings" does NOT work.

The "new" email SUCKS.
Slow, too many things don't work, wastes too much screen area displaying less info, smart views are gone, can't navigate with keyboard keys, doesn't show counts for my SPAM or TRASH folders, and at least a dozen other fatal issues.
I can only assume that your goal is to permanently drive away the few remaining users you still have.

Text only format by default
Text only format by default: the newest Yahoo email does not allow choosing text only email format by default for composing emails. This is a regression.
Please bring back this option for smaller, simpler and leaner Internet.

Searches do not should the folder where email is located.
When you do a search there is a column that shows the folder where the email is located. This used to work, BUT NOW location for all emails is shown as "Yahoo/Undefined".

The font/text in the new email is much more blurry, as if someone simply enlarged a small screen app. It is much better in Yahoo Basic.
Please bring back the old font/text. The new one is far too blurry making it ******* the eyes.
Also, the old way of showing the number of emails in each folder was far more helpful. It used to show how many were in the "inbox" separately from the amounts in the other folders. Now it's just lumped together which is completely unhelpful. Especially when it just displays "999+".
Please stop making everything look and work like a phone app. While that may be necessary on a small screen it just makes everything take longer on a regular pc. Especially the…

Problems when composing emails...!!!
I have discovered another HATEFUL thing about this new email change. When composing an email, the icons aren't working. I highlighted a word and tried to use 'Bold'. It didn't work. I then tried the same thing with 'Italics', again it didn't work. What is with you people??? Why do you consistently BREAK things that worked before. FIX THIS!!!!!

When you have to search how to add sender contact then it is mean it is awful!!!
I do not see nowhere how to add new contact or to add sender. FIX THAT!!!! And put on normal place where is user friendly.

After 19 years I may have to leave Yahoo unless the font gets LARGER!!!
