FILTER RULES
Given that most of us receive more and more email messages, a key feature of an email service to me is whether it supports filter rules. Yahoo Mail needs to configure rules based on at least sender address or subject, then disposition them (delete or put into a folder). This should apply to the web UI first and foremost, and if so the mobile app would automatically benefit from it. For comparison, see Outlook or GMail rules.47th ranked -

stop popup with "what is trending" on home page
Discontinue the annoying popup "trending on home page". I am allergic to popups.

SORT for Sent email box.
When I am in Yahoo Mail > Sent and want to rearrange my outgoing emails, I click on Sort. One of the choices USED to be, Recipient. However, that choice has been replaced with Sender. Well, I'm always the Sender of MY sent emails. Please return the choice of, Recipient.

STOP POSTING VIDEO AND POP UP ADS. IT'S OFFENSIVE AND SPAM
I think it's really ballsy you forced us to update to your new email and now we have to deal with your stupid video and pop up ads. It is harassment and absolutely disgusting you are doing this. Algorithm deletes many emails to Trash before I can see in Inbox
For the last 6 months, many emails are deleted from my Inbox and end up in Trash. So I've now begun leaving open on Trash so I can see what has been sent to me since last visit. I restore them to Inbox to look at in Inbox, however, many are sent to Trash again before I can read them. Not all messages but at least 1/3 of messages from specific senders. Fix this Please. Let me delete emails not automatic by your algorithm.

Select Messages Using Control Key
Up until this morning, I was able to select messages using the control key. Now I suddenly cannot. What the ****? It's a great way of managing my emails and it's a common typing technique. FIX PLEASE

What is with the constant pop-ups? I would like actually READ MY EMAIL instead of CONSTANTLY closing pop-ups that prevent me from reading MY email.

Fix the lag between adding a contact and being able to add to a list. Make it less clicks
Yahoo keeps forcing us to new email but they do not fix the issues. I do not want to keep checking to see if I can add a contact that shows up in contacts but list section will not find the contact. It has been over 30 minutes and still can't add to list. In classic you could add from contact add screen and to multiple lists at once. FIX YOUR ISSUES OR LET US GO BACK to CLASSIC MAIL until you do. This update is horrible, do you want to lose more users to Google. We don't feel like…

why does it take so long for my emails to come up on the personal computer? They are on the app on my phone immediately
I refresh my email a million times a day and none of my emails come to my inbox on my desk top. However, they are in the yahoo app on my phone. WHY????? I hate that I have to forward the email to my outlook email address to reply to it. There is no reason to have yahoo email if I cannot use it on my desk top!!! FIX IT PLEASE

Post emails when received not 8 hours later. I had no emails by 3:30pm and it shows I should of had them before 8:00am.

Block
How do we block the Domain of an address?? I get so many email from the same domain (@dyuurpa.highschool.agency), each one of the addresses are essentially a set of random characters. If there was a way to block this so that ANY .poundonthekeyboard.@XXXX.YYY will not be allowed?

Let me find a particular contact when I search for one in contacts. It is there but does not show up.
I am trying to edit a contact, but when I search for this person in contacts, it says that there is no such person. However, when I want to send them an email their name shows up. It should not be so difficult! We want improvements, not to go backwards.
