Its funny how a news site like (Using term news loosely) Yahoo filters free speech. Only when it suits them, do they want it to be free speech, otherwise, your comments may hurt someones feelings. Everyone is offended by something, can't protect everybody from having hurt feelings.

" Guidelines For Reinstating The Ability to Make Comments"
Yahoo should post guidelines for Users to help with the following when you can no longer make comments on news articles:
* Ascertain reason/s for deactivation of commenting ability.
* How to request reactivation
* How the "mute" actions worksThis would help users to understand the process which is reasonable.

LOTS OF MY COMMENTS ARE DENIED BEING PUBLISHED. WHY? I HAVE COPIED OTHER POSTS THAT WERE POSTED, WORD FOR WORD, YET MINE GETS REJECTED. NO SWEARING, NO MENTIONING OF THE DEMS OR REPS, NO DEGRADATION OF ANYONE.ONCE ALL I REPLIED WAS WOW AND THAT WAS REJECTED.

Allowing comments for ALL articles as well as keeping comments open beyond 3 days will allow for better commenting.

It's great fun jousting with the A.I. censor, the machine designated to eliminate colorful and free speech.

Every single one of my comments get deleted within seconds. It doesn't matter if I agree or disagree. And my comments are in compliance with your guidelines. Why have you singled me out for auto-deletion? I write better and more unbiased than the 'journalists' you use.

Letting people give their opinion is NECESSARY in a free society. So if you believe in our freedom of speech then you should never stop anyone from commenting on any article as long as they are being civil.

Perfect idea-when someone doesn't agree with certain stories or theories block everyone from commenting. Best way to see how people feel is allow feedback except when you know you're wrong..........

Don't leave comments turned off for the left leaning attacks on republicans or conservatives because you don't want to hear the feedback.

Reinstate my commenting privileges. I have not said anything negative or derogatory or anything like that. All I do is speak the facts and support it with links.
Is Yahoo so afraid of truth that they have to silence the truth to make truth deniers and the lost in the sauce people comfortable because they are happy with being lied too and truth hurts their feelings?

Allow all feedback response to all your media reports. Why are you so afraid to do so, are you afraid you wont get the response your looking for. Only cowards hide behind their ideology.

Are the censors of Yahoo so insecure in there beliefs they can not stand reading an opinion that differs from their own.

When Yahoo turns off commenting- even temporarily, they accomplish none of their stated goals. A “safe and engaging experience” is actually laughable. First, visiting Yahoo is never going to be unsafe. How could it be, unless you consciously post personal data about yourself. Secondly, how can you make an experience “engaging” if you don’t allow individuals to engage? I hate to say it, but the only thing that Yahoo is proving is they’re not very smart.

Leave the comment section up and stop taking them down. Your attempt to not upset a small minority ruins the experience for the vast majority who look forward to letting their voices heard. The comment section makes yahoo experience special There are many other news sites we could move to that do not have comments. This is a way to differentiate yourselves.

I want to read the comments on all articles. Regardless of if I agree with the viewpoint or not, I want the opportunity to read them and maybe understand others' viewpoints better.

yahoo is full of braindead leftist cucks who hide behind a computer all day and cry and block people when they get facts that upset them
