Replies and forwards in an existing conversation thread are too confusing in the new version. The old version had the new response being composed at the top, and all previous trail emails in a logical sequence below - evolution is supposed to simplify, not complicate.

  2. Over advertising

We as a people are overly subjected to advertising and it appears I'm not the only one who feels this way. I'm perfectly content with basic mail so leave me alone I WILL NOT DISABLE MY ADBLOCKER NOR WILL I WHITELIST YAHOO MAIL.

  3. YOUR CHILDISH EFFORTS TO REMOVE MY AD BLOCKER WILL NOT BE SUCCESSFUL. I WILL MOVE TO G. MAIL IF THIS HARASSMENT FROM YAHOO CONTINUES.

IF THIS BASIC MAIL PUNISHMENT AND HARASSMENT FROM YAHOO CONTINUES, I WILL MOVE ALL OF MY BUSINESS FROM YAHOO TO G. MAIL. YOUR PITIFUL AND CHILDISH ATTEMPT TO COMPEL THE REMOVAL OF MY AD BLOCKER WILL BE TOTALLY UNSUCCESSFUL. THERE IS A VERY POWERFUL REASON WHY I REFUSE TO SEE YOUR DISRUPTIVE AND INTRUSIVE ADS!!! NO ADS MEANS LESS CHANCE OF A MALICIOUS VIRUS INFECTING MY COMPUTER AND HOLDING IT ******* FOR PAYMENT OF VIRUS REMOVAL SOFTWARE. ALLEN J. FRANKEL 05/05/2020 21.45 HOURS EDT

  5. Either give users control over the ads or let us use ad blockers

I had to add an ad blocker because of the vulgar ads that were constantly running in my inbox. You wouldn't allow me to refine the ads, ban certain ads, nothing. Now you want to make me get rid of my ad blocker? Your service is already woefully behind other providers, and now you also want to harass your users into view ads we don't want? If I have to keep viewing these ads or can't use my normal mailbox, then this account is not worth it to me.

  7. Forget Yahoo and their ******* taking with "basic email" when I use an ad blocker!

We use Yahoo small business for our website and FTP access. And we PAY a FEE for this service.
NOW we're being held ******* because we use an ad-blocker.
I'll be moving to another service provider SOON.
I hope it was "worth it" yahoo. You LOST a customer.

  8. GET THE FRAPPING ADS OFF AND PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS YESTERDAY

YOUR NEW EMAIL IS TERRIBLE. WE ALL LIKED IT THE WAY IT WAS. I WILL NOT TURN OFF MY AD BLOCKER AND I WILL GO TO G MAIL IF I HAVE TO.

  12. Making something as ****** as possible because someone is using ad block is a bad business model.

You've recently changed your email service making things as difficult and ****** as possible in order to extort me (and others) into disabling Ad Block.
    1. That is a bad business model. I would not trust you with paying anything if that is the kind of busin ess people you are.

    1. A reasonable request would be better.

    2. If I were to disable Ad Block, I would ignore all of the ads anyway and never, ever purchase anything from them; so, what's the point of them.

  13. Why I block ads

This comment is about why I block ads. First I don't mind targeted ads if they are not invasive. After all, I might be interested in them. But what I hate are ads that race my CPU and fan, while using excessive bandwidth and degrading response time. Static ads, or ads without video, are fine. But videos, especially a lot of videos, **** my computer. If you revert to static ads, or find a way of using videos in a sane way, I would be happy to un-block you.

  14. Why did you change the number of messages per page, so that I can't just continue to scroll through.

Leave the inbox as it was, so that I don't have to change pages to look at earlier e-mails. And add new messages to the inbox as they are received, instead of forcing me to update the page to get new e-mails.

  16. Turn off your adblocker

When Yahoo asks you to turn off your ad blocker, do so and refresh. Then turn it back on again and don't refresh. This will work for a short time and then do it again.

  17. When you are in a hole, stop digging

Your new exercise to allow ads will result in many users going elsewhere. When you tout the number of users when selling ads, the lower user base will hurt your revenue more than those who use ad blockers. Good luck with that.

  20. I already pay you all a fee once a year for ad-free email. Have since the 1990s. Without providing more information, this is outrageous.

It looks like you all are again in a revenue crunch. I already pay a fee once a year for your email service. I've had an address with you all since the 1990s. I like you all. You're not behaving very likeably right now, with the ad vs. crippled account stuff, especially when I believe I've already paid for this year back in August. As a stakeholder, however minor, I want more transparent information, please. Not Marketing ******** (don't get me wrong, there's a time and a place for Marketing ... this isn't one of them). Actual financial reasons why.…
