Make it so people who obviously aren't going to "go Ad-Free" can just keep it on Basic Mail instead of your phony bologna pop-up ridden system. It's so actually annoying and your news is so obviously tabloid **** that I'm questioning why Yahoo is still even live. Is it because you're getting sued? Well guess what, that's your fault ;)

Let me have a reasonable length to my folder names IN THE APP. 14 CHARACTERS IS WAY TOO SHORT
Folder titles should be long enough to describe content. Often, this can take 20-30 characters. For example, I include sender and class name. Today, I couldn't put class title with 1 word added .

This new version is driving me crazy. I try to go back to the old and I get all these popups. HATE.
When I attempt to send an email and hit "To" it takes me to Contacts. I used to go to a specific sub group and check the boxes I want to send it to, but there are no boxes to check. I have to go to the entire Contact list to find the ones I want. And that stupid "Ad Blocker" pop up keeps interfering with everything I attempt to do. I end up screaming and saying very unladylike things - and still not able to accomplish what I'd set out to. And my signature is all screwed up!!! HATE…

I like what we had. The reason I now use an ad blocker is because the ads interfere with the emails and get in the way.

I understand the needs for ads but they get downright annoying when you can't interact with your email because a big fat annoying ad is covering things or popping under your mouse. Now your annoying nag screen to upgrade or continue is just pure BS.

why can't I set my contacts listed by last name. Everytime I set last name and go to insert my contacts my list reverts back to first name
Everytime I SET MY CONTACT LIST TO LAST NAME the list reverts back to first name when I want to forward any mail. Why can't I have my list of contacts organized by last name???

Is this an email client or a billboard? You don't have the authority to tell people what software to run on their computer. If I want to block ads I won't be coerced into unblocking them via crippleware tactics such as those used and recently escalated by Yahoo mail. If you do not cease and desist shortly I will use a different email client.

Getting rid of ********!
Had to wade through a lot of **** to get to this spot so hope it gets to the right people......I have had a FREE ad blocker on my account for years and it has been working just fine. Now you are wanting us to start paying for the privilege? What is up with that? Advertisers pay you to post their junk and you want us to pay to not have to see it? If this is going to be the new 'norm' I am going over to gmail.

Forget Yahoo and their ******* taking with "basic email" when I use an ad blocker!
We use Yahoo small business for our website and FTP access. And we PAY a FEE for this service.
NOW we're being held ******* because we use an ad-blocker.
I'll be moving to another service provider SOON.

Why I block ads
This comment is about why I block ads. First I don't mind targeted ads if they are not invasive. After all, I might be interested in them. But what I hate are ads that race my CPU and fan, while using excessive bandwidth and degrading response time. Static ads, or ads without video, are fine. But videos, especially a lot of videos, **** my computer. If you revert to static ads, or find a way of using videos in a sane way, I would be happy to un-block you.

Turn off your adblocker
When Yahoo asks you to turn off your ad blocker, do so and refresh. Then turn it back on again and don't refresh. This will work for a short time and then do it again.

I already pay you all a fee once a year for ad-free email. Have since the 1990s. Without providing more information, this is outrageous.
