Reach out to users who are at risk of losing their information
When deleting old emails due to inactivity, a courtesy outreach to the affected user when said user provides alternative contact information (phone number, alternative email addresses, etc.) should be made. Some users may not be aware of the 12 month inactivity policy, and may have important legal or personal documentation they would like to recover before their account goes inactive once they are aware of that risk.

Fix group messaging
My messages are grouped together, which I like, but they're grouped together even if they're from different people. I want the messages from the same recipient to be grouped together, not all my messages from others into the same group. It's confusing when I'm waiting for an important message and it shows I received. But then I go and open it and its from someone else. If its from someone else, it shouldn't be included in those grouped messages. Please fix. When your working with important documents, it matters to have the correct name with the correct numbers.

E-mail is the Stupidest I've ever come across for what purpose, forced to suck emails from gmail accounts, and lost my entire Yahoo's own emails - visible only gmail account emails, Yahoo posts don't appear anywhere. Login complex - two steps? without the possibility of direct password access..

Please instead add a mailbox trough provider, offer add mailbox by pop3 or imap and let the email on the folder it receive.
I just want to migrate from gmail to ymail but theres no option for manual configuration! easier with outlook.com for this...

I'd probably use Currently mail more...but when signing on...i sometimes get Yahoo...sometimes get direcTV...sometimes get ATT........

I use Thunderbird. I have deleted my account and restarted it 3 times. I just got another email I need to do it again.
I will switch to another email if I cannot use Thunderbird. I have deleted and restart my account 3 times I am not doing it four times, it is not working. If you restrict Thunderbird I will be forced to switch emails.

Remove Adblock popup or I will have to move my email account
Yahoo email was one of the fist email accounts I ever opened and it is still my main work account. However, this stupid "Wait 15 seconds to access your account as punishment for not letting us show you ads" is driving me away from Yahoo. The mail service is the only thing that brings me here. I can leave adblock turned on ans access my Gmail account just fine.
The only thing that has stopped me so far is that it will be a huge pain to change my email address with everyone. But if I have to put up…

I keep getting super obvious spam messages
No matter how many filters I put up, I keep getting spam messages from clearly letter-vomit sources. Please have something that verifies the sources, or at least fix up the filters so that I don't have to put up 5 filters for a single word.
And do something about your ad spam that many pages are complaining about.
