1. Why force qr authenticator?

   I'm using a token via USB. My account literally would not accept the token and was fixing me to attempt a QR code instead. Not how that works yahoo. I set it with a token for a reason. Plug in key. Plug in. Not an app. Duh. Stop pushing software authentication not nearly as strong as hardware keys.

3. "SHOW LESS" does not work! I am done using Yahoo as my news source. It is deciving. I am going to Google News. It works!

   I continuously select SHOW LESS for several news sources and they keep being added to my queue of top news stories. I consider them propaganda machines and I am frankly done with it. My preferences don't seem to matter. Google News seems to be working as expected. I never see certain media sources anymore. Learn how it is done Yahoo!

5. improve user experience of inactive accounts

   Instead of deleting the entire mailbox where someone loses all their life's worth of emails, can the mailbox be compressed and stored. If space is the the only issue for which the mailbox is deleted after the account is inactive for 12 months. Maybe keep the compressed data for another 2-3 years in case it needs to be recovered. 12 months inactivity is too short of a duration to delete the entire mailbox. Also some advance notice to the phone number and the alternate email address on the account would be helpful.

   in 2-step verification with mobile phone number, sometimes, not always, after input password, before send the code, the FULL mobile number is shown. from my experience, if first time login, the Part of mobile number is shown, it is fine, BUT, if shortly, I log out, then try log in again, the FULL mobile number is shown. it is not secure.

9. Outlook Connectivity is very subpar

   A year ago I paid 80.00 to have my outlook connected to Yahoo Email. And it got disconnected 3 months ago. I called Tech Support and they said that the connectivity feature to Generate an App feature is no longer available. Which means 1) The tech support folks should have told me how to do this to begin with. and 2) I should get my money back since this feature is no longer available. 3) they said they are trying to fix it..... Well how long does it take to fix something that was once previously available??? Not Good. Not good at all..... Bill

18. Provide automation to delete all messages from a sender, except the most recent one

    I receive a ton of email from advertisers and some advertisers send me multiple emails per month/week. I would like to keep my inbox clean by using a new type of rule that triggers Yahoo to automatically delete all old emails from a specified email address, except the most recent one. That way I can stay aware of new offers, but not have to manually clean out my inbox. This is better than the existing "find all" spyglass search, because it requires only initial setup one time.

    I leave in Kenya, and as I was going through the language options, I did not see Swahili. I would like to be part of rectifying this. I think it would greatly boost user experience and the company profile. Swahili is one of the most spoken languages in the continent and is a default lingua fraca.
