  2. New Computer Forces 2-Step Authentication

    When you log in to your Yahoo account on a new computer, it forces to verify your identity through an email or a text; EVEN if you have 2-Step authentication turned off. There should be an option to not require additional verification on a new computer. I have to use the library's computer, so it is always a new computer, and do not always have my cell phone on me. In this case, there is no way to log in, as the only other option is to send an email to another Yahoo account, which will require the same authentication.…

  7. Fix technical support - it is atrociously bad

    I paid for technical support and called in to recover missing folders from Yahoo mail. Before calling, I tried accessing my Yahoo mail account via Mac and Windows 11 laptops and trying 3 different internet browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and Safari). Your paid tech support utterly failed. I cannot get my folders back that have been there for years. Way to ***** your customers.

  14. Make the help pages accurate

    There is no point having help say when I want to change my phone number, "Clck Edit" when there is no such thing on the screen. There is also no point saying that my phone number is verfied when it does not turn up as an option.

  16. Generating third-party App passwords doesn't work - error message for days now when trying to generate a password for Outlook

    Fix your app generating program and/or make it more user friendly for Outlook users. I'm not going to use my new Yahoo email until I can import it into Outlook.
