  1. Fix third party app generator

    I will not be using Yahoo mail until i can set it up in Outlook. I am now going to go change ALL accounts with the Yahoo email to a different service. i don't understand why you do not want us using Outlook to access our email.

  4. My yahoo account was listed as a contact in my WhatsApp. I never used it before on WhatsApp

    It was also attached to my DuckDuckGo account email? And my photos cache was deleted too. Fortunately I decided to go into the Yahoo account website and change my password. I saw a suspicious email with an account containing many letters and numbers and then a fb phone number that I don’t remember saving so I deleted those. Any help much appreciated. Thx

  5. Too easy to impersonate and harass other people on Yahoo Finance conversations

    Too much impersonation and harassment going on at the Yahoo Finance "Conversation" sections. Moderators should promptly ban accounts that are used to impersonate or harass other people.

    There needs to be a way to update initial username if it's an email address no longer active. I can't receive mail via that old address.

  7. Stop having us review our security with every log on

    If we're already set up with a 2 step verification, then why are we having to check our passwords and location with every sign on with no option to not ask again? This is very annoying and time consuming when you're in a hurry. If someone is trying to log in, we would be notified via verification key.

  8. Old email address can't be removed from security/recovery options

    Can't remove old, obsolete (10+ years), email address, or stop it being used for account verification.
    I do not have access to this address, others may do.
    It listed is under Recovery Email Addresses with a note saying it's my 'Yahoo Account Username'. It is not a Yahoo account or my username/address/login. The only place I can find it referenced is under recovery email which needs to be removed.

  11. New Computer Forces 2-Step Authentication

    When you log in to your Yahoo account on a new computer, it forces to verify your identity through an email or a text; EVEN if you have 2-Step authentication turned off. There should be an option to not require additional verification on a new computer. I have to use the library's computer, so it is always a new computer, and do not always have my cell phone on me. In this case, there is no way to log in, as the only other option is to send an email to another Yahoo account, which will require the same authentication.…

  15. Fix technical support - it is atrociously bad

    I paid for technical support and called in to recover missing folders from Yahoo mail. Before calling, I tried accessing my Yahoo mail account via Mac and Windows 11 laptops and trying 3 different internet browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and Safari). Your paid tech support utterly failed. I cannot get my folders back that have been there for years. Way to ***** your customers.
