Group email in inbox by date.
The old version grouped emails in inbox by date. No, I don't mean list sorting. I mean each date has a date header, and emails for that date are underneath it. It provides a clear visual separation for all emails from that date. For example I can quickly glance at email subjects from today and be done, because I would know that I have already seen the ones from the day before. I am aware that dates are listed in the column to the right. I'm saying the new redesign is functionally a downgrade, it is not as well organized…

It is frustrating to have the email subject line cut off and then see only the beginning of the email.
I would much prefer seeing the email's Subject Line in Full.

Not recieving email
I'm trying to sign a contract via zoho sign and it's not coming through to my email.
The sales rep shows me from his tools that it should have been sent, but I don't see it in any folder, not even spam. I have verified 3 different times that my email is correct and the sales rep has triple checked that they have sent it.
How can I get my document to my yahoo account?
The tool is Zoho sign.

Mark as Unread option inside open email
We used to be able to mark an email as unread, while in the open email. There is no longer an option for that. Please add it back, thank you.

Sorting of email A->Z or Z->A
Would like to sort emails A->Z or Z->A. With the new email format, the storting is Newest first or oldest first, or read or unread.
Bring back the sorting of emails A->Z or Z->A. -
subject line preview
Please make the new subject line preview optional. I would like to see the original sender's subject line and not Yahoo's.

I do not like this new yahoo. How do I sort by sender? Internet has an incorrect answer. I used to be able to hover over the inbox and it would tell me how many emails I had. Can you bring that back?

Improve inbox organization or let user set width or order of fields
Wish I could change the width of the columns (date), location of that (sort by date first), and it seems to me I get emails in the middle of other emails (not most-recent-first). I am responding to email with mail above and below me

"All Mail" a choice for default setting
When I open Yahoo email its default setting is "priority email". When I open Yahoo email I want my default setting to be "ALL" mail. There should be a way to set what is each person's opening default mail is shown.

Hi, just today (2025-02-11) a pop-up appeared when I logged in, asking if I wanted either "All" or "Priority" as the default view when I first logged in. I chose the wrong one (for me), and then went looking for this within the Settings to change the initial choice that I made, but I don't see this as something within the Settings yet.
Can this be placed in "Settings > Personalize Inbox"? Presently, the only toggle in there is to turn the "Inbox Categories" on or off, but would be nice to have a Radio Button selector to switch between…

Hate the PRIORITY default setting
Make ALL the default. I HATE having to click to have access to ALL of my email. The Priority should be an option, not the default! And, is there a way I can change that?

Please allow me to choose which view I want to see as a default when I first login/refresh. With the new UI, it seems like "Priority" is the default view, but I want to always see "All" my emails when I first login

How to move two folders to the left column of the monitor
Some of the folders on the left I do not use.
The Spam and Trash folders are no longer on the left side but I have to search for them to see what came in that should have been deposited in my inbox. The spam and trash folders should be on my left side all the time. They are not.
Can someone remove two useless folders and replace them with Spam and Trash folders?
