Differentiating Open Vs Unopen Emails + Bulk Delete and Block Spam
I see you have already included this, which I am thrilled about, but differentiating more clearly between opened and unopened email is REALLY important to me. The opened emails are both hard to differentiate to my eyes colorwise- the gray is harder to make out, and frankly, it's unsightly. I look forward to being able to see this more clearly.
It's not navigation, but... I haven't had a chance to check, but my only known annoyance with the old email was that it seemed like a hassle to bulk delete and bulk block spam senders, if that was easier to…

title bar blocking mail buttons on top
Why did you idiots put the title bar across the top of the mail buttons? This is just stupid, fix it!

New layout
Please allow old layout back! Not all devices are mobile defices! New layout is far less productive for PC users! I need to see all my mailboxes (accounts) at once as it was before!

"Enable Auto-Advance"
I absolutely HATE THIS!!!! The directions on how to turn this off do not line up with what is in my settings folder. Very frustrating!!!! It makes me want to close my yahoo mail box for good.

spam folder rules
I don't get the new spam folder config. It appears to be a randomly selected set of e-mails, no different from plenty of messages in my in box, INCLUDING IMPORTANT ONES I WANT TO RECEIVE, plus it's hidden behind an additional layer to get to spam and check it, which I now have to do often. I would like to be able to disable the spam filter as it is worse than useless.

cursor keys
Something I hate about the new email inbox is that it does not allow you to use the cursor keys to scroll through you emails. The only way to scroll is to use the wheel on the mouse which can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome because unfortunately I get a lot of emails. I have heard from users of other mail systems like Gmail blocking more spam messages, but that's another story. I would like for Yahoo to bring back the ability to scroll through your emails with the cursor keys.

Customisable Mail Folders
Great new design indeed, congrats. The only thing I miss from the older version is the ability to see all my folders at once - yes, in that left column. I do not need that "Starred" folder at all, to be honest. Instead I'd love to have my folders customisable - as, for example. I frequently address Archive and Spam.
Even more kudos if you'll make it available.

send button
PLEASE change the "send" button location so we don't have to use "full screen mode" just to see or use it. It's a pain to keep changing from normal to full screen just to send an email..... I'm thinking about just going back to "the old yahoo email".. it was much more user friendly.

Unread filter shows read items
A code defect seems to have appeared today where the unread folder displays read and even deleted items after actions are taken on them

Web Page improvement
The unread menu option cannot be operated as it gets hidden in the upper portion of the web page after clicking the ... dots on left side of the web page. This is creating dissatisfaction and stress in browsing. Please look into the matter.

While reading Unread messages, Mail goes to the wrong message if I press Shift+K
I'm reading Unread messages. I've scrolled down to mid-July (it's now September 8). If I press Shift+K to mark a message as Read, Mail should then display the next or previous unread message. It does not.
Instead, Mail displays the very first message in my Inbox which, having just arrived, is unread. But Mail shouldn't go back to the beginning of my Inbox unless I was already at that location in my Inbox.

ui issues on computer (since update)
Navigation and Compose issues on UI of computer use of yahoo mail. (using Chrome) I composed an email, but could not access a send button (even using tab and sliders).
While looking at email in my inbox, I cannot access the trash and other options at the top of the page because the search button is overlaid.
Hope you can help. Thanks. -

working window
This new version still regularly has either the top or the bottom of the window cut off, with no way to scroll. Much of the time, I have to pop out the email that I'm writing in order to have an accessible send button. This new version is a serious step down from the old one, which actually worked.

Glitchy loading
Mail is slow to load. Get asked if I want to leave the site? Freezes up and have to restart.

default mailbox
Being able to prioritize mailboxes would be nice. I have 4 mail boxes and I'd like to have my main one pop up first.

Problem that's not your fault!
(Reporting a symptom that seems like a bug in Yahoo mail, but actually has an external cause, so that your support techs are aware of this. Couldn't find any other way to submit this info, so please route appropriately.)
I was very frustrated when attempting to edit my Contacts list -- the Save and Cancel buttons would not respond to my mouse clicks at all. Turns out that it wasn't caused by anything in the Yahoo window; any item in the lower right corner of the display would not respond. I observed this running Windows 11, and since I use…

filter
Is this thing working ?
OK, just in case it IS working, "filtering" should be by "folder'.
I would likemy INBOX filtered by UNREAD, but my SENT FOLDER, or my DRAFT folder to be ordered by DATE, newest first.
But what ever order I select for my INBOX, flows through to e, e.g. DRAFTS.
OBVIOUSLY, NONE of my drafts are UNREAD, so when I click on DRAFTS, I see NOTHING, and am immediately thinking I screwed something up and possibly deleted ALL my DRAFTS by accident.
Different folders nee different ordering/filters.

Improve navigation
Two things in Navigating the email are not good in the new version. Firstly the attachment at the top of the email is there, but clicking it doesnt take you to the attachment. This is very cumbersome and makes you scroll down to the end of the email, which if they are very long is very painful.
Second the Send and attachment bar at the end of the email is not on the screen, its not fixed, and again you have to scroll down to reach it, especially if you are windows are small and you are working in multiple…

UI needs a lot of improvement
I don't like the Sender icons. Please allow us to hide them. I also need more visible lines dividing the emails in the email list. I saw a tip for keeping the folders expanded, and when the new email interface loads, I briefly see the left navigation showing more details. It looks much more functional, but then it goes away, and hovering on the Inbox edge is not displaying the double arrow, and I haven't been able to resize. Thank goodness I still have the link to go back to the old interface for now.
