I keep getting amessage that I can not send or receive email's becaude my mail box is full. I have deleted VERYTHING. no matter how much I delete it tells me I still have 517.2 MB more to delete. Thar number never went down no matter how much I deleted. And now everything is empty and I still have that same message eith the same amount to go for it to be corrected.

The best way to get rid of spam is to mark as spam, not delete or block! This helps with your spam filters and does exactly what blocking does, prevents that email from coming to your Inbox. So please keep marking as spam! It is free and part of regular Yahoo Mail. Thanks!

Spam trashcan icon in Spam folder name
The old Yahoo Mail had a Trashcan icon directly next to the Spam folder name. To delete the spam mails, all that was required was to click the Trashcan icon.
In the new Yahoo Mail, I have to select all the spam mails (in the 'select all' checkbox) and only then I can delete the spam. And I even have to click the 'Are you sure' popup window.
So more clicks than in the old Yahoo Mail.
Can you implement this 'one-click spam delete' icon again? Thanks!Hi Eddy, we currently have no plans in adding the trash icon for the spam and trash folder. For now, yes you do you have open those folders in order to select all and then delete all. We will share your feedback with the right team.

Deleting in bulk
It's such a scam that you decided now to limit the amount of email storage. i have been deleting for 2+ hours and haven't made a dent. I don't need the emails. So there's no sense in me purchasing storage space. But now i have to waste my life away trying to delete over a million emails. There has got to be an easier way.

I have gotten HUNDREDS of emails from 397774188 with different domains. They dump into my spam folder but can Yahoo block these completely? Examples: 397774188@58xt.maps-kuwait-city.com, 397774188@6w4o.carrepairautoelectrics.com, 397774188@agleadergroup.com, 397774188@andalanindovegas4d.com
I have tried contacting help desk but get this message "Support from a Yahoo specialist is not available."

Make a Select All that actually selects all.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE grant the ability for the UI to allow me to select ALL the emails in a category when I select "select all". Right now it only lets me do 100 emails at a time, just the emails that are loaded onto the screen. I have tens of thousands of emails I want to delete at a time. doing 100 emails at a time is going to take forever!

Delete more SPAM
For some reason there is much more spam coming in. In the past I might only get five a day, now I am getting 50 a day. If I delete a spam I would think you would not send more of the same. Thank you for listening.

How can I delete all SPAM emails?
Yahoo mails needs much easier mass email functions.

Make Bulk Delete truly Bulk Delete
Selecting "ALL" only selects 100.......allow for a larger number to bulk delete......it's time consuming to tidy up the emails, make it easier.......if one deletes something they didn't want to, then that's up to them.....now, you're just wasting peoples time

By making a Mass Delete Option
I got so much spam that I could out do Spam itself in my mail, but I cannot mass delete anything, even older messages that I have no need for. This completely makes the system unmanageable! It's *! Garbage! * on a stick! ********* Beyond All Recognition! I'm tempted to just close out the account with a ******* All because there isn't a way to quickly clear out junk!

how to bulk delete unread emails
I HAVE 167,000 UNREAD emails! There is NO WAY to bulk delete these without taking days upon days of my time to do this.
Can't there be a function to delete ALL unread emails by time? Maybe Choose a time, ie Jan 1, 2005- Jan 1 2006? Even if i could do a year at a time to clear it out would be great.Thanks,

Select all Mail
For some reason, selecting all email is no an intuitive process. Any mail programs I use make it a simple task to select all visible emails to mark them for deletion or move. This interface makes this process and several other tasks impossible to achieve - I can't find a Select All button anywhere.

I continue to lose drafts due to backspacing
I have lost countless drafts and now have lost the entire folder due to merely backspacing in a document. How to recover these documents which were saved before going back in to edit. This is a huge glitch

Missing Email
You can improve by not having emails "disappear". I had a specific email that I rec'd. a week or two ago. It is nowhere to be found. Just gone. This is the second or third disappearing email I've noticed since the conversion to the "new" Yahoo mail. The last time I opened this email was on Wednesday or Thursday, 8/27 or 8/28... less than a week ago. I searched all mail for anything from that sender and got no hits. If there's something I should be doing to prevent this please let me know.

Selecting mails to delete has been a pain. The delete all unread button is not visible on interface until you select a mail. PLEASE increase visibility for this.
Even the touch radius of selecting multiple mails allows too much room for user error. I'm trying to select the checkbox for multiple emails but when I'm trying to do it fast, I misclick outside of the checkbox and it opens the mail instead. please increase the radius of that area so that i can select multiple to delete without a misstep.
