Allow users to sort inbox by sender.
This allows user to delete, in bulk, emails that are not wanted.
Hi James, thanks for your feedback. Yes, we do have sort by sender still, but just like the old version, you need to disable Conversation view. You cannot sort by sender when that is enabled. Once you disable that under Settings, you will see "Senders Name" as a sorting option.

Bulk delete
The bulk delete is gone from primary and all
Hi Krissy, yes you can still bulk delete! Just hover over any email and you'll see a checkbox show up to the left of the email. From there you can bulk delete, or a checkbox will appear at the very top. From that you can Select All and then Delete All.

Give the sender 30 seconds to undo the sent email
I sent an email today and forgot to attach a document. I had to resend the entire email. I was a little embarrassed by this. It would be good if I could have a few seconds after pressing send to undo and attach the document or make corrections. Thank you!
Thanks Monica! This has been a popular request, adding a "Undo Send." This is in our Mail app so our Community wants it on Desktop too. We will share your request with the team. Thanks again!

Better deleting method
You need to add a way to be able to delete the entire box. It is time consuming to delete thousands of messages when you can only select 100 at a time.
Hi John, you can select all and delete all. Looking at your Inbox, you can Select All and as you're deleting the 100, a floating bar will appear and ask if you want to delete all your emails. Thanks!

I need select all option
I have thousands of unnecessary emails bogging down my email account. There is no simple effective way to delete all this. If you would give me a select all at the top of a page, then I could get rid of all this garbage. Most of it is junk I really don't want. I spend hours it seems trying to unsubscribe but they just keep coming. Help me! I'm drowning!
Simplify my email clean up options PLEASE!!!!Hi Jayleen, when looking at your Inbox, if you click on one checkbox, a new one will appear the very top of your Inbox. From there you can Select All and then Delete all. Thanks!

Fix a bug which should never ever be release by any decent software team
When deleting a working copy in a conversation, you're deleting the entire thread.
It's a critical bug. And it persist for days if not weeks. Repair it ASAP. Fix your wokflows. Such bug should never happen.
Restore my deleted threads for bcharuza@yahoo.comHi Bartosz, there is no bug! The delete/trash icon at the top is for the whole thread. If you want to delete individual emails from a Conversation thread, just tap on the three dots to the right (...). There you can delete individual/single emails.
Last, you can save accidentally deleted emails from your Trash folder for up to 7 days. Thanks!

Deleting several emails
I used to be able to delete numerous emails with selecting a box at top of inbox. It is now gone, emails have to be deleted one at a time. Please return this feature.
Hi Bre, we have not taken away that checkbox. We are seeing it just fine. To see it, just click on any checkbox and a new one will appear at the very top.
And if you disable Inbox Categories, and go back to having just one Inbox, the checkbox always appears at the very top. Thanks!

Setting Email Senders to timed delete
It would be great to have emails self delete after a certain amount of time. The user could choose an option to have emails from a specific sender self-delete after 30, 60, or 90 days. For example, I get newsletters weekly. I read through them sometimes, but there are other times I am unable to read them in time so the newsletter is no longer current. By designating this particular sender's emails to self-delete after 30 days, this would also passively manage my inbox.
Hi AP, this would certainly help your use case, yes, but a majority of our community would not go for this. Most like to have control of their Inbox. We will share your feedback with the team, but we currently have no plans in adding this at this time. Thanks!

mass delete
a way to delete either more than a thousand messages at a time or all messages from one specific sender
Hi Sheryl, there are many ways to delete fast!
You can tap on any checkbox and a new checkbox will appear at the very top. You can select all and then delete all. You can sort and then delete by sender by tapping on the sender's logo/avatars in one of their messages.
You can also go to the cloud icon in the left hand column which will take you to your Manage Storage page. From there we provide more deleting tools. Thanks!

Way to eliminate the folders on folders' lists.
I would be good, if you would provide a way to delete folders we create, but that we don't need anymore. Only the content of the folder can be deleted. But not the face of the folder with the name we assign to it, on the list of folders. . I tried to look for a way, but could not find a way. It only gives me the option to save, reload, and such. No way to delete it. It's quite annoying. to have a folder we don't use anymore, and no way to delete it from folders lists.
You can delete a folder. If you hover over the folder, three dots will appear to the right of the folder. Click on those dots and you'll see Delete Folder as an option. We have provided a screenshot below.

Add the delete all ability back. I am about to abandon this email because its so overrun and I cannot clear it out.
Add the delete all ability back. I am about to abandon this email because its so overrun and I cannot clear it out. You used to have the ability to mass delete and for some reason took it away. This was a bad idea.
We still have Select All and then Delete All. Just click in the checkbox and a new one will appear at the very top. From there you can select all and then delete all.

Help with delete function
I have literally thousands of emails I wish to delete. The system is only allowing me to delete 100 at a time, even though a prompt comes up that says for example “delete all 8000”. I select it and hit delete. Not only does it not delete all 8000, it doesn’t even delete the 100. In other words I can only delete 100 at a time. Help…there has to be an easier way.
Hi Tanaa, very sorry you're having trouble deleting! We recommend deleting less emails at one time. Deleting a huge chuck at one time might be clogging the backend. Let's delete 100 at one time a few times and see if that helps. Thanks!

folder storage time
ability to change how long emails can be in folders before being auto deleted, example; change spam folder from 30 days to 5.....
Yes, this is already in place... Trash folder is automatically deleted in 7 days. We do not do this with your Spam folder in case a legit emails gets accidentally placed in there. Therefore, we encourage you to check your Spam folder and empty it once in awhile. Thanks!

Let me delete by sender
You want me to clean up my inbox, but it is so hard to select messages in bulk. Let me delete in bulk somehow, by sender, by date, anything but having to select every single message individually. If you don't, I won't clean up...
Yes, you can do this in many ways!
- You can tap on one checkbox in your Inbox and one will appear at the top. From there you can select all and delete all.
- If you disable Conversation view, it gives you sort by sender and more options to sort. You cannot sort when it's in Conversation view.
- Go to "Manage Storage" or the Cloud icon in your left hand column. From there it takes you to many deleting tools to help you decrease your Storage.
As you can see, many ways to clean your Inbox!

managing storage that works
the managing storage counter just doesn't work.
been deleting like mad to fit within the 15Gb limit.... the size counter doesn't change
SHOCKING!what about a delete tool that works?
Hi David, thank you for your feedback. This is mentioned in our email communications and in the help articles, when you delete emails, you also need to empty your Trash folder. Once that folder is emptied, then you'll see the storage number decrease. We also recommend emptying your Spam folder. Thanks!

Select all emails and delete
We need a select all box so that we can select all emails and delete them. I get thousands of junk emails each year, and I refuse to delete them one by one. If you don't let me delete them all in under 5 minutes of work, I'm going to just let them pile up and waste space on your drives.
Hi Greg, thanks for your feedback. You can select all and then delete all. :) Just click on a checkbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and then Delete All. Hope this helps!

Allow control of delete confirmation popup
When I delete email there is a popup confirmation that overlays the icons. If I check the checkbox on some messages then select the delete icon the confirmation popup shows and stays for a while so if I select more messages to delete the trashcan icon is hidden by the popup.
Can we just have a setting to not show the delete confirmation popup or move its location so it does not overlay the icons.
I have a monitor rotated to portrait display so the resolution is 1080 wide by 1920 deep. If I move the Yahoo Mail window to…
Hi John, we can't seem to replicate the issue. It would be helpful if you could provide browser info and version. Also, a video of this happening would be great too. Thank you!!
