An error occurred while saving the comment Dawg commentedMy IDP Keeper league with custom scoring is closing out our 15th year. Any league specific rules I have are written in a Word document and published to all.
If you can't establish and enforce your own league rules 🤦.
If someone wants someone to write code for something a simple bylaw could handle,.. or they're going to leave?? 🖐An error occurred while saving the comment Dawg commentedAs commissioner, you should be able to establish your own league rules. One of mine addresses this exactly. No one is allowed to hoard position players. You can keep 3 players, but only one at any given position, etc etc.
If you want position limits, establish position limits. An error occurred while saving the comment Dawg commentedThis is such an open ended proposal. What limits are proposed? If you're in a league with a commish that changes various league settings after the season starts, you should be looking for another league. I've heard of some crazy league configurations, and I truly don't understand why anyone would want to play 2 QB's and multiple active players in other positions. I've had a league going into it's 11'th year and I simply attempt to replicate scoring of the actual game as close as possible. If your defense intercepts, they get 2 points a TD gets them another 6, IDP players; Line, LB & BF (1 ea.) score points etc. No sense describing my league except to say we changed to "keeper" league 4 years ago, 3 keepers max, 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def, 1 DL, 1 D, 1 DB, 6 Bench & 1 IR. Rules are written & everyone has a copy. Rule changes have happened a couple of times but they were minor and voted on, simple majority except when we added IR which I required 100% agreement on before implementing.
My comments may sound simplistic, but at the end of the day it's like complaining about FOX News or CNN. If you don't like the program, don't watch it. If you don't like the way your commish runs the league your in, it's time to bail.An error occurred while saving the comment Dawg commentedI say not necessary for this change.
Anyone with a bench full of the same position players isn't going to be a threat to win in a league anyway. If someone wants to employ that strategy I'd be happy to let them join my keeper league if an opening ever comes up.
I run a league with 3 IDP's and 6 bench spots. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Dawg commentedAdding one more stat line would be a simple task. Kickers should be rewarded same as any other skill position. Not many have the confidence of their team to allow them to try from their opponents side of the field. Over 40 yds is 4 pts, 50+ is 5, 60+ should be 6. No brainer in my opinion.
An error occurred while saving the comment Dawg commentedDisagree!!!
Too much luck involved in where a kicker is forced to attempt a field goal. Not the same as a rusher or receiver working for yards..

An error occurred while saving the comment Dawg commentedOur main NASCAR league is like a big family. We began getting together for one race a year beginning with Bristol Fall Race in 2012 with as many members as could make it. We've had up to 14 people make a race weekend and we have a great time. Without fantasy NASCAR, we would have never met. Please bring fantasy NASCAR back.

An error occurred while saving the comment Dawg commentedI think that would delay the draft too much! Our league requires league review for trades during season and although most of my managers make the live draft, sometimes there are a couple that have to go auto for some reason or another.
Just because someone thought "new is better" needs to rethink their position. This new finance page is horrible. Trying to stuff too much into one page is ridiculous. The old summary page was easily navigated & intuitive. I don't want to scroll down the side of the entire page trying to find the portfolio I need. And I certainly don't want 70% of the page full of things not directly related to my portfolio once I open it. If this was an attempt to provide more information, we don't want more information; on the same page, at the same time, in such a condensed manner it's just frustrating. Where is the discussion link?
