    You have taken away everything that was good about yahoo mail:

    1) Can't open multiple emails in tabs - especially useful if you are trying to respond to one email and need information from a different email

    2) Can't star an email without opening it

    3) Hitting the "x" in the search box doesn't clear the search and take you back to your email.

    Change is fine, but to do it without carrying over features that have been available for years is foolish.

    The screen real estate is much too valuable to be take up by the right side panel (the one that shows your starred message - if you feel like you must keep it at least give us an option to turn it off. And why gamify reading your email with streaks?
