Fights should be a stat. If a player gets a 5 minute fighting penalty then that is a benefit for the team in real life as a momentum changer. However, all other penalties should not count as a benefit to a fantasy team.
Example: Brad Marchand receives a game misconduct and is kicked out of the game. My fantasy team wins PIM for the week, but the real team is screwed.An error occurred while saving the comment Noah S

We have always excluded PIM from our custom league specifically because of situations where a player gets ejected from a game (I'm looking at you Lucic) and the team owning that player wins the PIM point for the week. I agree that fights could be a positive stat, but nobody should ever be happy when their player is ejected for a game misconduct.
Side note: penalties drawn would be an awesome category -

Yahoo Fantasy Baseball has a position eligibility count down. This should be possible for hockey as well. How? Each game starts by showing the starting lineup on TV. They show the lines for both teams when the game starts. Use that. Each game the player starts at the position counts as 1. Better yet, Yahoo already tracks the current position of players and shows that to us in the depth chart on player list (research stat). Where is that data coming from? Use that! When the player gets to 5 games started at a position then add that position to the player's eligibility.
Please copy the position eligibility count down page from fantasy baseball so we don't need to request from anybody to change position eligibility.
