    I found a way::: I'm using Win-10. In the new "improved" version, in upper right corner, click on tiny "contacts" icon thereby loading your email contacts. Allow contacts to load. Then, on MY screen in the upper LEFT corner, I click on the email (envelope) icon, and VOILA! , Old Version RETURNS! Hope this works for YOU, and that THEY don't read this and try to FIX it!!! . . . :)
