    my.yahoo.com/yahoo.com and news.yahoo.com yield different news experiences, and neither is now customizable :-( Being able to customize by topic:source was what made Yahoo News valuable to me, and unique from so many other "we'll use AI to pick what we think you should be reading" news aggregation sites.

    At this very second I see yahoo.com displaying sports, entertainment and celebrity stuff that I NEVER CARE FOR, but I see no personalization option to trim that junk out. I am quickly discovering the ability to customize topics and sources in Google News.

    I may celebrate the start of 2025 by deleting my Yahoo account.
