    Hi, *many* times one wants to do DELETE one by one, not multi-select. Yes, be fast as one clicks down delete as you read the contents quickly. One can see the LIST and the MAIL contents together. However, because some mails have an EXTRA , REPLY ALL button; the DELETE ,FOLDER and SPAM buttons shift around making it hard to just click the same spot (motor reflex). If the botton moves around, then the user must also watch the BUTTON BAR (which is comparatively small also) .. reducing productivity as you sift through mails.

    In the OLD look this was not a problem. It was the reason I delayed adopting the new look also.

    Please fix it. There is no real benefit to have REPLY on left because to reply means your focus is now on the email anyway. No one replies to emails back-to-back while scrolling, but you do DELETE back-to-back while scrolling.

    Also with today’s mail traffic, even NON-SPAM mails people want to clear. Check your DELETE API stats to confirm. Am sure it will be more useful to move DELETE, SPAM buttons to the extreme left (where they dont move at all) -- or if you plan to keep them right, then introduce some space (STATIC PLACEMENT) so the extra buttons dont shift them around.
