Inbox Categories Options
In playing with my email settings (and realizing I definitely prefer having the inbox categories disabled), I've realized that the option to presort/filter my mail with a quick button click is actually really handy. Here are some ideas for tweaking it to make it more user-specific.
Please please please, let me set which filter I want as my default and/or allow the option to just go back to the last used filter. I hate that it keeps going back to the 'priority' filter.
It would be nice to be able to select which filters I want being used. I don't…

Scrolling through mail is jumpy as it skips emails
Scrolling through email is impossible. I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to look through email as I use a pc. I can start at the top and after one or two short scrolls down it jumps down so I miss several hours of emails For example, my newest email came at 6:12pm today..After I get down to 4:20pm it jumps to mail received at 1pm without my even scrolling and when I go back up I see I missed 32 emails received. No matter how many times I go back to the top and try again it always…

Link Preview in Emails
In new Yahoo Mail, "Automatically generate a preview of links" is not working. It should be fixed or just allow users to go back to old Yahoo Mail. Thank you.

Bring back the right-click "Create Filter" option
Hello,
I hope you're doing well.
Since the recent Yahoo Mail update, I've noticed that the "Create Filter" option no longer appears in the right-click menu when I right-click an email.
I used this feature regularly, as it made it quick and easy to create filters and organise incoming messages into folders. It was a really useful part of my workflow, and I miss having it available.
Would you please consider restoring this option in a future update? I think it would be a valuable improvement for users who rely on filters to keep their inbox organised.
Thank you very…

Ads - Malware Virus
Hello, I wanted to report a concerning experience I had while using Yahoo Mail." A sponsored advertisement appeared in my inbox area and redirected me to what appeared to be a fake virus page. The page attempted to make it seem like my computer was shutting down, which was clearly a scare tactic. I understand that ads may be served through third-party networks, but I was pretty surprised and concerned that this type of deceptive ad was able to appear as sponsored content within Yahoo Mail. It creates a significant security concern for users who may believe that it's legitimate.…

The Filter option doesn't work
The Filters don't work. I tried every variation possible. Comas, no comas, contains, begins, from, subject, content. I tried everything to remove some repetitive SPAM content and they keep poping on my SPAM folder, instead of going to the trash, like I costumized. On the other way, mails from the electricity company and others from legit sources, are going to the Trash folder. I checked to see if I have a filter or a word that could filter these messages...and there isn't. I'm so mad, having to check the spam and trash folder constantly.

Resize Images Within Emails
When adding an image in an email in the new yahoo email, you cannot resize the image. You could do this in the Classic Email when you added an in-message image. I believe there you could make it small/med/large. New Email does not seem to allow any resizing. Please add this feature.

Allow pressing delete key to delete checked emails. This is always how I used to delete emails before. I know it's not a huge deal to have to click the trash icon, but I can work faster on my keyboard and this shortcut was nice.

double click on name in address field
In the previous version, I could double click on a name in address field to display the email address and allow copying. Now it doesn't allow that. It shows the persons address but there's not a way to copy & paste it.

Reading and responding to emails within a chain is almost entirely unusable. You don't need to include the entire chain of responses with every reply it makes is so confusing and unreadable.

Manage Storage tab
Just received a Yahoo! email about the Manage Storage tab. I'm pretty sure I've seen my storage is at around 15GB but I can't recall where now. Anyway. Well let's go check out the Manage Storage tab then...
Why does the Manage Storage tab not indicate how much storage an account is currently using? Shouldn't that be the most important information on that page, seeing there are offers to extend it? Seems like a super logical thing to do.59th ranked
