Could you make the mail actions - move/delete/etc in the same order from when you have a mail previewed or open and when you're looking at the inbox? Infuriating that the move folder is 2nd in one layout and 4th in the other when you have basically the same icons.

I am about to start a new email with someone else! You can no longer delete by clicking on the trash can for each and every email!! If you do not move the mouse before selecting delete, it will open the email you are trying to delete!! This is time consuming to have to move the mouse to bring up the trash can on every email! Such a pain in fact, that I now have over 1,500 messages waiting to delete!! And you did away with Classic view, and stuck us with this?

Hi, now the message buttons appear just above the message rather than at the top. I noticed that the delete message button is sometimes the 6th button from the left, and sometimes the 7th button from the left. It seems like it depends if I have the option to "reply all" or now.

One thing I commonly do is have my mouse pointer hovering over the delete button and then as I process my emails, I click to delete. It used to be a very simple process. Now the button move back and forth, so besides just reading my email and then clicking delete, I have to check if the delete button has now moved. That is so annoying, and slows down my workflow. If you could say, move the delete button to be the first button, or let the reply button show the option to reply all, rather than have the reply all be a separate button, that will be great.

I clicked to try the experience again hoping that you'd fixed the most irritating issue with the new design but it's still there. With the old design you can click on the delete button, the next message will move up and you can click again to delete that next message. Now you have to move the mouse to bring the delete button back. Not only that, but if you mouse over a message from underneath, the tooltips for the icons appear before the icons, which only appear after your mouse has reached the top of the message in the inbox view because it's retaining the tooltip from the message below while your mouse is over it. It's just more awkward and slower to use. What are we doing here? What problem are we solving?

In general, I despise the new UI?!! Specifically, the location of the Delete Icon varies depending on something - I am thinking the type of email being viewed, but who knows what you have done. This is what ****** me off the most - As I delete a message and the next message is displayed, if I want to also delete that message, I have to verify the mouse pointer is still positioned over the Delete Icon; if it is not, I have to move the mouse before I can delete the message, and this extra action only gets me more disgusted with Yahoo for not Use Case Testing this required action.

When an email has the "reply all" option available, the button displaces the other buttons when it appears on the action bar. This causes problems in particular for the "delete" button - if one is deleting several emails he/she has to be careful as the "delete" button keeps moving. Recommend keeping the positions fixed, perhaps always show the "reply all" button but gray it out if it's not applicable.

from left to right they may have added features but the ones that are consistent should match. As in mark unread, delete, move to folder should at least be in the same order left to right across the top. Right now it is total chaos so you are constantly having to move back and forth to find the correct action item. It's literally the most basic act of functionality and you guys missed. the entire look is **** and layout is **** unable to customize is ridiculous etc. but at least do the absolute least to make this dumpster fire a slightly less blaze

The icons at the top of the reading pane do not maintain a consistent position. For instance, when viewing a received email that has multiple recipients, the icons from left to right are:
Reply, Reply all, Forward, Mark read/unread, Star, Move, Delete, Mark as spam, More.
The order is the same when viewing a message with a single recipient, except Reply all is missing.
I guess that makes sense but a problem arises when deleting multiple emails:

I want to delete an email with multiple recipients, so I hover over the delete icon and click.
The next email pops up. I want to delete it too and so click again, without moving the mouse.
But the next email has only one recipient so where the delete icon had been, is now the Mark as spam icon. So the message gets marked as spam when it isn't.

This has happened to me more than a few times and I'm sure it's happening to other users as well. When you hover over the delete icon, you expect it to stay where it is and not to have to chase it around the screen!

Please consider fixing this behaviour. Including the Reply all icon for all emails would do the job.

Why in the world would you flip-flop the "move" icon and the "mark as read/unread" when in different views of the inbox - when i'm in the inbox its one way, when i open a message it flips them around. Doesn't make sense and is just CONFUSING!!!
