  3. New account recovery, or go back to security questions

    I have just tried logging on for the first time in years, I was unable to use email or any advanced technology for a long while. And my recovery email no longer exists due to them company discontinuing that service. I can't remember my password, and it's not allowing my a security question access. This is pure ignorance. It's ********* that I had to create a whole new account just to try and make contact as well!

  4. verify who I am with my cell phone every time i sign in? super dumb

    I think its super dumb that every single time i try to sign into my email on the computer I have to verify who I am with my cell phone. If i wanted to use my cell phone I would have signed in on that. My password is my verification. ****, if I have to enter some special pin every time just to show I'm not a robot, then I will.     How can I have my email deactivated? I applied for a job online and it asked for my email. Then there's another company asking me to fill up a form. Im afraid they are hackers so id like to have this email deactivated. How do i go abt it?

  7. Stop requiring device verification. I know my password.

    Look, stuff happens and people lose their phones, change phone plans, upgrade their phones, someone steals their activated sim card, their service shuts off due to lack of payment, etc. It's all happened to me sadly, and there is no preparation for any of these misfortunes. I can't simply log into a new device that i most likely dont even have yet, minutes before I'm unexpectdedly parted with the device(s), let alone verify the new device on my **** email account... THAT I KNOW THE PASSWORD TO AND THE SECURITY QUESTION ANSWERS (that are totally irrelevant now). The security questions…

    In settings you can only edit personal info. What kinda settings is that? How the **** am I supposed to control my account with no options.2-step verification should work on even apps. It should be easy to find and consequently the option to not allow less secure apps get access. Which is the option I'm searching for.And I just signed in from Chrome and didn't have to take the 2nd step. I want EVERY sign in to go through the 2nd step. That's why I turned it on.   16. I'm trying to Access my Yahoo account and it's asking for 'Account Key' instead of asking 'Password'.

    I recently had format my Phone and 'Account Key' option was also enabled for my account.
    Now when I'm trying to login, It's asking for 'Account Key' instead of asking 'Password', How can I provide 'Account Key' without logging-in, can you guys please provide my answer for this.
