Just when I decided to write this note I arrived to this page and noticed that other people have already made comments on the issue. I have been a Yahoo news reader for over 15 years. I considered really useless to make me go about a preview page every time I click a heading in the news. I get so irritated with the "Read More" feature on your news articles that I just don't want to ever visit your site again. Why must I click on an article, read a paragraph, and then be required to open a new tab to finish reading??????? What is the point, and why do you make it your mission to add more aggravations to the world???? Technology should simplify life, not complicate it.

The backlash on the "Read More" scam to boost advertising revenue has been consistent and prevalent. Not ONCE have I clicked the "Read More" button and I never will. I now go to Yahoo to get the headlines, and then move over to google to find other sites with the same news. MSN has a real opportunity here to cash in on Yahoo's incompetence. Shocking to me that Yahoo is still around - it's been a poorly run company from the start.

Putin arrest
Yahoo posted a "click-teaser" news item about Vladimir Putin being arrested in Florida. OK, no problem, except that the teaser had a photo of the real Vladimir Putin. This is totally unethical and should be illegal. Yahoo "news" is total tabloid bullsh*t.

Video clip unavailable
Why do you post video clips inside feature stories and then when you click on it to watch the clip, it will not play because it is unavailable outside of the United States, on Yahoo Canada??? This happens a lot and makes your stories a waste of time. Some are worthwhile reading, most are not.

Yahoo news article links don't work anymore -- instead they take me to another page with a link to 'read more'.
I've stopped reading Yahoo articles until the above issue is fixed and the article link takes you directly to the full article.

It would be nice if your programmers learned how to write a null terminated string. Comments are concatenated. Ask a techie in order to understand my meaning. You have applets that are writing non-null terminated strings into the comments, which causes garbage to show up after what was originally in any comment.
