Allow me to select articles such as sports or Texas or politics or USA and not world.
Please allow me to customize which news I receive such as an emphasis on sports and Texas. I now use Google, but they are using too many sources that require a subscription. I am not going to pay those subscription fees. I have a local newspaper for that.

Federalist needs to be listed under "opinion"
Why is The Federalist now the #1 "news" source? What they discuss/promote is not news, it is right-wing propaganda. I don't object to it being on the site, but I do object to it being classified as news. So unless you've been bought by FOX, I would suggest categorizing it accurately. I've stuck with Yahoo for many years, but if this trend continues, I'll be moving on.

My Yahoo page no longer updates the news. Many news reports are over two weeks old now.
My Yahoo 'home' page no longer gives me updated news headlines.
Some of the news I see has been on my home page for two weeks.
Also, some reports show a date of December 1969
Also, I prefer not having 'video' on the home page as I get a sudden burst of loud audio at times that comes with it.
News reports often seem to be written by children.

More Fairness Please!
You can improve Yahoo News by being more fair. I just counted seven positive Hillary Clinton stories and six negative Donald Trump story. I know that your editors are all uber liberal democrats but it would be nice if you just once showed some fairness and impartiality. Obviously up until this point that has been too much to ask and I don't expect it to change anytime soon

We all have bias and preferences. The appealing pictures of Hillary and the unflattering shots of Mr. Trump shows Yahoo's obvious bias.
It's ok to have bias, we all do, but if news is news and not bias/opinion can there be a separation and balance. Look at the pictures Mrs. Clinton and compare those to that of Mr. Trump.
Yahoo can even state who they support, fine, good, be up front and proud. But please first be fair, give us the news, then give your opinion. That's all. -

You APPEAR to have interesting things to click on and read, but - and I am so so sick of this - when I click on something I want to read more of - it is meaningless junk - nothing at all - apparently you're all about the clicking and nothing about the content of what's behind your teasers. What Happened?
I used to use Yahoo News every morning. I enjoyed reading the articles that interested me while I ate my breakfast. Now, almost all of the articles are from another site. When they aren't they aren't filled with grammatical errors they are filled with misleading headlines. Just this morning one of your writers wrote an article about how there was a new picture from the Gilmore Girl set. While that in itself isn't a huge deal, what stood out to me was how there was no photo in the article anywhere.

Hey Yahoo your front page news links are messed up! No matter which story I click on, it simultaneously plays a second story. Oops!
Your whole news feed is a disaster. From formatting, to what you decide is the lead story. This latest problem where 2 stories play simultaneously is just the latest in a months-long trail of technical design issues. Maybe you should focus on how to do it right the first time rather than pushing so many changes at once. You're losing your most loyal customer base.
