Its time we just leave. why should we continue to use and support a structure (yahoo, etc.) that is intent on demolishing America. If no one listened..... they wouldn't even be a problem anymore. besides, the comment section in my opinion fuels the fire, but doesn't really change anyone's mind or the outcome. if you want change, just delete your yahoo account. protonmail.com for a substitute email and The Daily Wire for news (along with others). Goodbye Yahoo, Facebook etc.

Bring it back. Right now all Yahoo reporters do is give their loony toon lib opinions and call it news. SMH. That rainbow colored hair dye is starting to get to your brains.

Yahoo isn't the government, so you can forget the "free speech" argument. It's their website and they can do what they please. It's your choice whether to be here or not.

Will yahoo ever have the balls to put the comments section back ? At first I thought they would after Trump was not re-elected but now I see they are just censuring the opposing viewpoints of left wing media. This is what the United States has come to because of the socialist

There really is NO reason to use this app at all. Not having the comments section is in essence, censorship, which is where the media is headed.
Many of the "stories" Yahoo "news" reports are either factually incorrect or contain misleading information. The comment section at least allowed FACTUAL information to be noted. Perhaps, Yahoo doesn't want any factual information disseminated. -

No they are not trying...the jerks are actually doing it! It is disgusting to see article after article blocked because the content does not agree with their distorted view point. Big Tech needs to be reigned in to gave everyone a level playing field, Section 230 needs to be abolished. They have too much say so on what they control. That was not what the internet was created for. And yet they want people to consent to Yahoo spying on their personal information. I hope you jerks at Yahoo read this and take heed.
Ant yet they want users to consent to their taking control over various internet opt -

So terribly written and edited articles, posing as journalism, are okay? BUT, a few disagreeable comments from random haters are what Yahoo focuses on?

Just like ABC news, you are trying to keep any comments that you do not agree with from being on here. It's censorship and the founders of the United States never wanted the media to have this much power over the citizens. Put the comments back on.

NOTHING ELSE WILL BE GOOD ENOUGH
In less than 24 hours, TRUMP'S Presidency will be over for life if he does not come back in 2024 and win again - for merely coming back to run does not guarantee him the office; and if his detractors do not succeed in preventing him from running again should he choose to. Among us are Presidential Assessors who eventually conclude that a President failed or passed and how much he failed or passed – a position that does not interests me because of the category of American that I fall into as a result of just 2 WORDS (which ought be removed) in the US Constitution regarding the requirement of who may run for that office. But people are different despite a lot of commonalty that we all have: either male or female, same number of chromosomes, either White Black or Other (that is, not White or Black), and ability to reason and Self Actualize – to mention just 4. So what really determines how past Presidents are rated in the United States of America? Whatever these are, reason suggests it should be based on the period when they were in the White House, not before nor after, even though their before performance made them to be elected as President in the first instance by We The People. Yes it is the people that could return a President for another 4 years or merely say NO, Bye bye, even though these individual opinions to elect or reject is highly influenced by haters and or supporters – which ever at the end of the day had the bigger impact. It was interesting to uncover the emoluments of the after office of past Presidents which is until death, like for example they being Permanent Ambassadors of America with Diplomatic Passports not the type of passport all others get, budget for staff, yes after office etc !!! I can go on but will not. A lot has been said this year about the happenings at the Capitol on Wednesday January 6, 2021 that some have rightly or wrongly linked Trump to even though all know there is a lot of difference between WORDS and ACTIONS. And all that have been arrested and will be prosecuted were nabbed via actual recognition in the videos and photographs taken during the unrest which was for a cause – justifiably or not. What really connects TRUMP to all these? Only that the voters were fighting for what they perceived as unjust and or unfair election which unfortunately I do not share even though I too voted for Trump last year, 2020 as I did in 2016. We all know that the House has prepared an article of Impeachment against a President who has to the best of his ability served his term, which is yet to be presented to the Senate as was done before within the 4 years presidency of Trump which the Democrats failed before; And the entire Republican Senators should ensure they fail again and let Trump go and enjoy his entitlements as an ex-President; NOTHING ELSE WILL BE GOOD ENOUGH. -

I said this before and I will say it again. No one is protected when you take their rights away. Bring back comments. Not letting people speak what they think or talk it out with others. Just breeds anger.

Don’t put back the Comment section.
Instead, go to Foxnews.com to freely join the lively discussion. Foxnews has an easy login, ability to like/dislike comments, follow commenters. Even easier, just go to settings and add foxnews.com to your list of start pages. Apparently, Foxnews is not afraid of constructive feedback on stories, lively discussion, humorous snarky comments, and enlightening banter.

Now in the in the '21 century we have tech companies posting articles written by activists, not journalists with integrity, not mention denying freedom of speech by removing comments on these ridiculous articles. Going further, by allowing all this the level of disinformation that people believed is at an all time high. Yahoo you lost all integrity in these actions and I will personally never read another article you post.

It is a very transparent effort by you, the media, to keep peddling propaganda without any reader pushback, readers pointing out the falsehoods in your reporting, readers pointing out facts that have been omitted. Given the ownership of yahoo news, huffington post, etc, There really can't be any other reason for this. And your failure to explain otherwise show that. Whats sad is, you are arguing for dismantling the greatest country ever - and I say that as an immigrant.
