I won't read yahoo articles any more if there is no comment section
Apart from email the one reason i use yahoo is for the comment section on articles/news. I have no desire to read articles if I can't express my opinion afterwards.

Rants and short grunts are an abomination and we should tag them and invite Yahoo to set up an automated system to divert them. Exclusion could be based on number of words - one-sentence comments are rarely useful to enhance information. Certain words can flag posts to not be admitted. Wouldn't it be stimulating for viewers as well as journalists and editors to upgrade the comments section?
Why not do this. By prioritizing people who have meaningful contributions the forum can become much more interesting and invite worthwhile information that may not be availablke elsewhere.

Are people really complaining that news is not worthy if people can't rant about what they dislike? Are people throwing tantrums over it?

@rolling, be as aware of those that would advocate destroying democracy. Be aware when adults act like spoiled children.

Yayhoo lies on a consistent basis. Why, you may wonder? Simple, because it's a left-wing faction for the corrupt left. So, be wary ALWAYS when reading their propaganda!

All they are bothered about is showing talentless bimbo’s and idiotic celebs with about as much talent as a dog **** !! Rylan. Ant & Dec, Ross, Gervaise, Khardashians , Jenners, Lemon to name a few !!

Me parece una cobardía permitir publicar artículos de opinión sin que haya la oportunidad de que los posibles lectores podamos opinar al respecto.
Si no van a permitir la libertad de expresión, tengan la prudencia de no publicar opiniones!!

The Yahoo News articles are not worth reading without having a comment section attached to each article.

Don’t put back the Comment section.
Instead, go to Foxnews.com to freely join the lively discussion. Foxnews has an easy login, ability to like/dislike comments, follow commenters. Even easier, just go to settings and add foxnews.com to your list of start pages. Apparently, Foxnews is not afraid of constructive feedback on stories, lively discussion, humorous snarky comments, and enlightening banter.

Gathering feedback until AFTER the election. GFY YAyHOPO
Our goal is to create a one sided and stifling place for users to be barraged with communist propaganda over interests and passions they care about. In order to improve our community experience, we are canceling your first amendment rights and suspending article commenting since we can't control what you think anymore and you commenters make us look like fools since we can't seem to tell the truth. Comments will resume AFTER we commit our election interference just like in 2016 and 2018.
Sincerely (sic) the communists that run YayHoPo -

There is no point even putting up articles if you can't comment on them, they are just useless then.

Yahoo states, "In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting." The deep irony here is that suspending comments ENDED any sort of community experience!

I AGREE! I stopped reading the articles because they are so bias and more of an opinion to the left an anything that does not fit the mold is criticized. Just another liberal left leaning media editorial site.

Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting. This statement from Yahoo dose not make one bit of sense .The entire statement contradicts it self. The people at yahoo hate freedom of speech it is quite obvious.

Without comments some articles may contain incorrect or untrue information, which cannot be corrected. So, the present situation is unfair. If I know it, you also probably know it. Therefore, this situation is "produced" to silence our voices. Why? Are you from United States of America, or from Russia?

Just do what I do...I just post my comments in this forum. My voice will be heard. I suggest you all do the same thing.
If the article writer gets to POST his voice, why can't we? -
