Kill comments, please. Get rid of them. They add nothing and nobody is happy with them.
They're unfixable. Folks treat this place like it's 4chan. Put it out of it's misery.

Get rid of the comments section all together. It's unmoderatable, filled to the gills with white nationalist talking points and reactionary hate.
Shut it down again. It can't be fixed.

Even the feedback section of Yahoo! News is littered with toxic discourse re: "conservatives vs. liberals".
End it. Delete the comments section. Its unmoderateable, and full of pointless mud slinging. These semi-anonymous platforms where people are only represented by black text on a white screen only act to mask the humanity of individuals and bring out the worst in all of us, collectively.
We shouldn't be interacting with each other and the news like this. It's not good for individuals, its not good for their communities, and its not good for the country as a whole.
Chuck it. Have the moral courage to throw the comments section in the garbage.

It is true that when one news source presents the news from a left-of-center, and when they act as an aggregator tor many other news sites and then you have other sources like Breitbart and OAN occupying the other end, it appears that yahoo has a left wing bias.
Comparison is a funny thing. Perhaps the true fault here is that of god's, for creating a reality that, when reported on, often undermines the reactionary conservative's perception of reality

First amendment states that the government will not infringe on your right to free speech. It says nothing about Oath & Yahoo!.
Better idea? Delete the reactions section!
Kill comments. It's drive-by twitter, populated by reactionaries and idiots that feel entitled to be able to shout their ill-informed takes at the world and whine about literally everything that doesn't align with their beliefs.
It's not a town square, it's a bunch of people in a city council meeting shouting conspiracy theories after somebody stole the gavel. It serves no purpose. No substantive arguments occur: it's a never ending flame war of semi-anonymous users.
