I want the old original format back as well!!!!

I hate it. Just to change it on everyone like that is rude. I have my own business and receive many orders by email and do not like this new version whatsoever!

how do i change to basic format

It's the worst e-mail I've ever used. Please just give us back our old Classic format.

TO GET BACK CLASSIC try this:

1) Open and log into sh*tty new Yahoo email if you aren't already
2) Copy this text: https://mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?action=mails
3) Open a new Chrome browser window while keeping sh*tty one open
4) Paste the text into new brower window
5) Close sh*tty new yahoo browser window
6) if it worked, BOOKMARK copied link in new window (this is important as it will become your goto-button everytime you log in to get back to Classic)
7) Raise middle finger of victory and KEEP SENDING YAHOO YOUR SENTIMENT

POSTNOTE: This is not a forum for addressing your complaints. It is just an outlet for people to cry about forced changes until it sets in that Yahoo is not going to reinstate the Classic mail that everyone here wants. The reasons have to do with a new system that is designed to better track everything you write or say in order to generate data patterns on everyone who uses the net. Reasons have to do with tapered advertisements, location tracking, national security, political power consolidation, but ultimately its just about control. We can cry all we want here. The only thing it will do is generate lists of people who are considered potential threats to the new system.

The only thing yahoo might respond to is a class-action law suit. Perhaps even better would be a new service provider jumping on the opportunity to take away all the disgruntled yahoo users with a mail format that is like the classic system and includes direct data transfer of all emails to said new provider. There is an overwhelming market here for any company that can step up to it.

I as well HATE this new format. It is completely confusing and a total dumpster fire. I want the old format back now!!

Same here. Its buggy, glitchy, i can't have multiple tabs open then exit out of one without getting sent back to the inbox like the old format, and the stupid new format keeps telling me i have a new message on my google chrome tabs when its in draft but every time i go back for it, there isn't anything new. The old format was 100X BETTER THAN THE CURRENT. I wouldn't rant so much if the settings had a function to return to the original format but it doesn't. It needs fixing BIG TIME!

why is it so hard to just give people back the classic email, it is soooo much better than this new one, we did not ask for it , it was just given and not one likes it

This format is too slow to capture information and for me is too bad ,something is freeze. I do not like it. Please I wan to back to the old format. Thank you very much!

I absolutely HATE the new format, I am a business owner and I can't get my Logo to the signature section, I also can't work with this format. With a high paced business my colleagues and I don't have time to play with this thing. PUT THE OLD FORMAT BACK UP ASAP OR LOSE ME!!!!!!

Not only is the new format harder to use, it will not let you delete ads. Horrible. Greedy bloodsuckers don't even show ads that are appropriate to the intended target. I am a 70 year old man, and am not interested in womens' shoes, bathing suits, or dresses. I don't need prescriptions filled because I have a real doctor, and free meds. Then there is the issue of speed. Horribly slow, and the fact is, we all know YOU DON'T CARE, because we're stuck with it. My 16 year old granddaughter could write a better program.

Your customers reporting complaints have all tried your ""New'' and ''Upgraded'' email format
and find it vastly inferior to Classic Mail. Also, your ''New'' Classic Mail'' is inferior to the
old format. Now, either get a hold of your ego and respond to these complaints or resign
from your job and give a flexible program designer the opportunity to give Yahoo/Verizon
customers the format that they both request and deserve.
