POSSIBLE WAY TO GET BACK CLASSIC try this, it works for me
1) Open and log into sh*tty new Yahoo email if you arent already
2) Copy this text: https://mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?action=mails
3) Open a new Chrome browser window while keeping sh*tty one open
4) Paste the text into new brower window
5) Close sh*tty new yahoo browser window
6) if it worked, BOOKMARK copied link in new window
7) Raise middle finger of victory and KEEP SENDING YAHOO YOUR SENTIMENT

8) please DONT comment further on this thread; keep this info sitting here at the top for others. But please DO keep sending yahoo your sentiment on other threads, maybe next millenium theyll get the message.

How Do I Change Back To The Old E-mail

i followed instructions to get old email back, couldn't find the options to do it! many many others want to go back to basic. what gives?

your new format, which is the Basic Yahoo Mail you had 20 years ago it is very inefficient

Please give the user the option of Classic mail as you did before.

I hate the new format, no icon to switch back, will be closing my account unless this is sorted..

Your new e mail sucks. It is difficult to read.

I also would like the previous version of Yahoo e-mail back and have not been able to make this happen either by using the "canned" instructions or through contacting a customer rep via e-mail.
