The new email format was such a poor choice by Yahoo.

Absolutely hate the new email format! If I can't go back, will look into other email services.

TO GET BACK CLASSIC try this:

1) Open and log into sh*tty new Yahoo email if you aren't already
2) Copy this text: https://mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?action=mails
3) Open a new Chrome browser window while keeping sh*tty one open
4) Paste the text into new brower window
5) Close sh*tty new yahoo browser window
6) if it worked, BOOKMARK copied link in new window (this is important as it will become your goto-button everytime you log in to get back to Classic)
7) Raise middle finger of victory and KEEP SENDING YAHOO YOUR SENTIMENT

POSTNOTE: This is not a forum for addressing your complaints. It is just an outlet for people to cry about forced changes until it sets in that Yahoo is not going to reinstate the Classic mail that everyone here wants. The reasons have to do with a new system that is designed to better track everything you write or say in order to generate data patterns on everyone who uses the net. Reasons have to do with tapered advertisements, location tracking, national security, political power consolidation, but ultimately its just about control. We can cry all we want here. The only thing it will do is generate lists of people who are considered potential threats to the new system.

The only thing yahoo might respond to is a class-action law suit. Perhaps even better would be a new service provider jumping on the opportunity to take away all the disgruntled yahoo users with a mail format that is like the classic system and includes direct data transfer of all emails to said new provider. There is an overwhelming market here for any company that can step up to it.

Here is How to Switch back! Click Setting, Then at the bottom of the Page Click ... More Setting. on the Left Menu at the Left bottom click "Switch to Basic Mail"

Let's all be honest, Yahoo has been pretty ****** w.r.t. bugs for years (2006 -circa 2011), then it became very hard to use, they keep changing things how you make Group lists, etc.
Now there's this new deficient (no "people view") and buggy (I can't make contacts from received email, can anyone else figure it out?)
Am i the only one think they're actually trying to drive users away intensionally?If anyone would be so kind to PLEASE refer a better provider, it would be so appreciated; been ready to leave Yahoo for years, the only reason I stick around is their "People view" I get 100's of emails/week and that view would pull up just the ones from contacts, now

Go back to Classic --- this new format was NOT selected by me, and it is too SLOW in loading everything!!! I hate it.

So many complaints by so many people and still Yahoo WON'T LISTEN to it's users. The new format is horrible, and there's no way to change it on our end. We just want the old Classic format back!

Old format!!!!!!!!!

Your new format is nearly impossible to read. I have tried all your options and they are unusable. I don't have any problem with my Gmail or Hotmail accounts.
Please make the email readable again !!!

If you really cared how we feel about the new mail then you would at least give us the option to GO BACK TO THE CLASSIC E-MAIL FORMAT!
