Your story reporting and general poor quality of e-mail.
I would hope you would employ writers with more than middle school level talent. Incomplete ideas, rambling, scant knowledge of topic; these are only a few annoying traits your writers have. ALL of them.
E-mail is just broken. It has been and always will be, I guess. When I first came on, it was very adequate for me. your constant "improvements" have been the bain of my on-line experiences.

Sorry, Roy. Much of the content is not created by Yahoo. Read a byline and complain ti AP, Reuters, LiveScience, or whoever actually wrote it.

They ask us "please tell us what you think about our changes (which is all the time) then they ignore our suggestions, requests, and pleas. We are just Ginnie Pigs. They even blocked some of my accounts (I believe) because of my comments (which I should be able to post). BROTHER ! I used to love yahoo but It's time to leave! And folks...it IS easy! It's not that we are afraid of "change" we're afraid of yahoo messing up our lives!! Yahoo's trademark is NOT RESPONDING among many other things.
This **** has been going on for tooooooooo long! Sh...t it's JANUARY (months later) and the Folders link still won't open and I've got alot of business emails I have to tend to. I mean I am litterally SCREWED !!! Freakin yahoo!!! They zap me an email saying they've deleted another address from my contact list, put a permanent AD in my inbox fooling me it's an email. HOW DARE THEM!! took away tabs, blocks me out of my accounts, links/options either don't work or aren't there anymore, never warning us when they're going to be ***g up their site, the send toolbar's at the bottom, the vertical scroll bar's defaulted in the middle of the freakin email, can't use the back button, and on and on and on!!
Changes, Surprises, NO reply’s to Requests/Comments/Votes BROTHER! Customer Support? RIGHT! It's called resolve by yourself with Yahoo's Q/A's and good luck!! They don't reveal their ph# for assistance and when you find it from the search engine and call ***t your on hold for up to 2 hours or more. My time is TOO PRECIOUS for this **** and I refuse to be treated like this as a customer!!!!! I mean you-all DO realize that Yahoo will always be ****ing with their site no matter how many comments, votes, requests, or begging you do don't you? They've gotten worse the last 3 years. They change, they change things back, they take it away again, then give it back, then not, and on and on and on!!! They'll change after everyone's left! It's already TOO late!
I have read hundreds/thousands of comments about yahoo constantly changing their site and the "unsatisfied" members and I see yahoo really doesn't care! Of the 2+ decades I've had yahoo, I've only but once got a response to my feedback! I mean really! Why don't you Yahoo Admin put the interface, links, and user friendly options back to the Classic yahoo? That's what everybody wants. I can see Yahoo's stock going way down quickly along with their member status!
It's time to stop begging? It's time for us to take control vs Yahoo taking control of our personal information and accounts! Don't even THINK this is going to end because it won't! Once the can of worms are open it becomes empty! They're always going to be ***ing with their site which is why I (and after reading the hundreds of comments over the months) the hundreds of others that have left!!!
I’ve been with yahoo since they were born ! They used to be SO user friendly and enjoyable to have email accounts and now….they’ve become very UN-user friendly!! Anyway along with leaving yahoo I HAVE stopped purchasing their stock and have spread the word about their raunchy service and nosey staff. It’s like their staff is bored or something to be constantly changing and working on their site on a daily basis. Even when I am just sitting looking at the open email account I see in my task bar a bunch of data running by saying their downloading **** and stuff. It’s a bunch of B ***** T !! Self centered, ignorant and self rightous staff!! I won't come back!
If anyone wants to leave them it’s easy to find another email provider. Research by typing in top 10 free email providers and study what they offer as for space, folders, etc. to accommodate your needs. I myself went to Hotmail (which is now Outlook). They give me enough space, has the easy way of creating folders option, and has great customer service, live chat, a phone number, and community support.
So go for it !!!
