Requests to add maximum innings pitched requirements for H2H leagues. Currently, this feature isn't supported in H2H leagues.

Max IP HAS to be implemented. It is by far the major flaw in yahoo fantasy baseball. A max starts would be the best option as it limits the advantage of double starts. If I go up against 7 double starts to my 1, that’s just as bad as streaming. Especially if this happens in the playoffs that’s a guaranteed 2 categories (standard at least) with the chance of getting the other categories as well. It’s obviously less likely to win era and whip or whatever the counters are, but 7 more starts GUARENTEES 2 with the ability to just keep throwing and fight for era and whip. It’s remarkable this still hasn’t been addressed as it’s SO obvious and so avoidable. Fantasy baseball isn’t about how many pitchers you throw, it should be about quality and matchups. Transaction limits are nice too, especially weekly, however the flaw there is the double start issue. Again, if someone has 2 or 3 more double starts (not uncommon) than you are starting out the week down 0-2 before it starts essentially. PLEASE MAKE THIS CHANGE. Yahoo is better in every other way, but this is a deal breaker

Need allow commish to add a MAXIMUM innings pitched or set number of starts per week.
It's too easy to win when you can stream starting pitchers in a points league (we do have a 5 transaction limit, but still need an innings max).

Add the option for a max IP's for the week just like you can have a max IP for the season (rotisserie) so that you just don't cycle 4th and 5th starters to get as many starts/innings for the week. Fantasy BB should be about skill, not streaming. You don't stream batters, so why do we have it such that people stream SP's?

Agreed similar issue. Max IP on the year would solve it. Give everyone 1,700 IP available (or pick whichever number you'd like). Evens the paying field. Spot starter become WAY too valuable without this feature. PPL clamoring for an SP owned by 1% of Yahoo, while All Star hitters remain on the wire.

More helpful would be a max transaction limit of either season total transactions (excluding trades) or lower weekly limit. The roster size specifically the use of 4 pitcher spots lends itself to constant streaming whereby a team may use 6 adds a wk to max the pitching starts and use volume of innings and stats from ****** pitchers to win 3/5 pitching categories. Inevitable 3-4 end up rotating the same junk pitchers each wk and it really is not a skill or a realistic game.

Either this or the option to set start limits. ESPN has this and it is having us entertain switching over. Without having a top-end limit, it is always going to be possible to "brute force" category wins.

I agree strongly in the "streaming pitchers" problem, but just limit how many starts a manager can have at the starting pitcher position to seven, just like the rest of the position players and real baseball. limiting innings would not work because some starters might go deep into games, and some might not.

In a real baseball game, one team has to get 27 outs and so does the other team. There should be an option where we make both managers pitch approximately the same amount. By having a min innings pitched and a max innings pitched, you can pull this off. It makes sense. It prevents mindless streaming from helping mindless managers.

well, considering some leagues keep track of Hits, Walks, Runs etc.... usually the guys with too many innings lose these categories while trying to win SO and ERA etc...... Let them. Maybe your league should include those stats to keep people from pitching too many innings??

Why not just set a Max Acquisitions Per Week and switch Total Ks to K's/9 ? That prevents teams from continuously streaming.

OP, why not just set a Max Acquisitions Per Week? That prevents them from continuously streaming.

A head-to-head points league just becomes a pitcher streaming competition. This is game breaking. Please fix!

Totally agree.the standard pro league isn't so much a pro skills league as a pro sit around waiting for 2start SP to clear waivers league.its within rules but Hawking waiver wire and starting the same junk pitchers that everyone's added and dropped 3x already isn't a skill. Standard category pro leagues inevitably turn into a stream fest to accumulate wins ,ks. A season transaction cap or so inning limit would solve this.i favor season total cap for transactions. A default roster with less pitcher spots may also work but is less effective and could cause issues when a team has all their starters going on a given day.

You can set an innings limit for the season. Good enough

What if all your "BN" are SP's? Most MLB Teams play 6x's a week. So why do you need BN for Batters.. My team is All SP. and 3 RP. Why should you get penalized for having all BN being SP.... Stay active in your league and your fine. PAY ATTENTION.....

My league would definitely benefit from having a Games Started limit each week especially since points totals cannot be adjusted if someone goes over the limit that we have. It would make my life as the commissioner so much easier. A max inning and max games started would make Yahoo better.

Seems like there are many features for the commissioner that have not been done and this seems like it would be an easy one. It also seems like it is causing lots of people to leave Yahoo and my league is definitely one that is looking into this option.

I disagree. In this day and age of daily fantasy people like to stream pitchers and get 2 start pitchers for the week. The most active of owners have no problem with this. If anything, have a competitive/active stream league setting and a lazy/non-active league setting for those who are just casual users at best.

Why not set a weekly transaction limit?
