Two-for-one trade bug: managers can void trades by adding/activating players after acceptance. Please auto-adjust spots to ensure fair trades
There’s an ongoing issue with two-for-one (or more) trades in Yahoo Fantasy Basketball that allows one manager to void an accepted trade. For example, when a manager is trading away one player and receiving two, they can cancel the trade after acceptance by either adding a free agent or activating someone from their IR spot before the trade processes, which leaves no open roster slot. Yahoo then automatically rejects the trade due to a full roster, even though it had already been agreed upon by both parties.
In all other cases, Yahoo prevents roster moves that would interfere with an active trade, but this loophole allows one manager to manipulate the system and back out of a completed agreement. Yahoo should adjust the trade processing logic so that once a trade is accepted, roster spots are locked or automatically adjusted to ensure the trade goes through fairly.
Thank you for your feedback regarding two-for-one trades being voided by managers adding/activating players after acceptance. We will pass it along to our team!
