Stop auto-enrolling people in leagues they didn't sign up for.
Yahoo added a league for me that I don't want, didn't ask for. I have never expressed any interest in fantasy basketball. But I fear I will be ruining some people's leagues by not playing - you just made your product shi**ier for everyone in a single mistake.

+/- needs to be a category in fantasy
+/- should be an option as a category for fantasy, it just makes more sense than turnovers and is on every box score now.

Bring back traditional lineup setting.
The drag and drop method is slow and "auto set" takes some of the fun out of it.

Unlock rest of week starters
It’s truly astounding to me that you locked the option to start players for the rest of the week behind a paywall. You are going to kill Fantasy basketball which is already hard enough to get people to play. I’ve been a commissioner for over 20 years in yahoo leagues and if this isn’t changed, I’m going to have to move over to Sleeper. I’m willing to delete the league and take our draft there if it’s not unlocked this week. Really bad decision on your part.

Quick Draft Banner
I care about my fantasy basketball rating. The banner you added to the mobile app that says "draft now" is far too easy to accidently hit. It created a team and drafted before I could delete it. Now drafted I can't delete it and it's going to hurt my basketball rating.
Just cheap marketing to inflate numbers. Every team has a stock name. It's not a real league with people who will manage their teams. The whole thing just feels sketchy and wrong. You're trading players who check daily for fake accounts.

you put a tiny little banner add up with a teeny tiny X to close the window so I could see all of my fantasy hockey information. I now have a fantasy basketball team that I don’t want. Delete the team, I have no interest in playing fantasy basketball.

Since when is setting your lineup for the week behind a pay wall????
Been playing fantasy hoops on Yahoo for close to a decade, and we've always been able to set the lineup for the week at the start of the week. Now it's behind the Fantasy Plus paywall? This feels like a fundamental feature, not something you need to pay for. I hate this update.

STOP forcing people to join when they accidently hit a banner and get thrown in an instant draft.
The banner for instant entry on the phone app is right next to my fantasy football team controls. One small slip of the finger and I'm in a league that drafts starting in 20 seconds. I try to stop it but can't find the "leave league" button in time. Then there is no options but to have a team and get alerts that I don't want. It even assigns an idiotic team name based on my screenname.
Meanwhile you are SCAMMING advertisers if they think that real people are playing in these fantasy leagues.
This is pathetic, Yahoo. Don't force…

Fail safes for draft order
This year my draft positions have been 8,1,9,9,9,10,10. This is not the first time that draft orders have been bunched in a given year. Part of the fun is experiencing a variety of players, draft positions, and opponents. Allowing of this kind of experience robs players of the variety and maybe there should be something in place that protects against this.

Eliminate public league additions without multiple approvals
I never signed up for a basketball league yet today was added to 2, and now they have drafted with no or maybe one other manager participating, no obvious commisssioner, no messaging enabled via draft to reach out for help or anything. I don't need some fake leagues bringing down my ranking because I could care less to follow or play fantasy basketball.

stop the click bait garbage entering people in public leagues and not letting them delete
I must have accidentally clicked on something that put me immediately in drafts for basketball and football. Super annoying I have to keep looking at this garbage. Just stop doing it and give users a chance to delete, hide or whatever. It's annoying. If I wasn't in a yahoo league I chose to be in I would delete my account altogether including email. Feels like it's intentional. Stop please

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players that haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them.
