Revert User Interface Changes Android
I am very disappointed in the user interface update of the new Yahoo fantasy app for Android. In order of most disappointing:
Having the necessary tabs for Fantasy changed from the bottom menu to the top menu is the biggest downgrade. The most important tabs are not reachable with your thumb. The TEAM tab is directly under the BACK arrow which constantly gets misclicked.
The bottom menu of Daily Draw, News and Scores are completely irrelevant or tertiary at best to my app use.
Selecting Teams while in MATCHUP is demonstrably worse. Having to select the Profile Picture of the Team to see their weekly stats instead of that teams half of the scorebug is tedious. The pop up lineup is worse functionally then it was when the same page would transition from matchup stats to the selected teams lineup. Another tab to minimize and cancel out instead of a seemless transition from Team A, Matchup Totals and Team B.
League Announcements, Commish notes, View Team Levels etc. were better below the standings. The standings being below this and not being visible immediately after selecting LEAGUE (having to scroll) is inefficient.
Pay walling weekly lineup starts is a terrible decision and a poor excuse to entice subscribers to fantasy plus.
These changes have done nothing but drive members in our league to use the website and leave the app behind.
