Basic Mail provides base functionality like reading and writing messages, but does not include many of the advanced options. To use these features, we recommend upgrading to full-featured version of Yahoo Mail.

  5. How can you improve the basic version of Yahoo mail, you can leave it just like it is. Plain old basic version.

    Basic Yahoo mail is just fine. Quit forcing the change on me to a new look and feel periodically when I log in. Your newer versions are ****. An inbox and the ability to have folders to move stuff to is all you need in email.

  8. The "go back to old version" option under Account Info does not restore the functions of the old version.

    In the first place, the information given in "help" was not accurate, as far as I could tell. I couldn't find Steps 3 and 4 as described in the directions, in which I would be asked for my reasons for wanting to switch back to the old version.
    Nothing happened until I clicked "Go". As soon as I did that, the dialogue box closed and my screen went back to my Inbox.
    Although I'm supposedly in the old version, I still can't fill in the bcc list of recipients to an email directly from a sub-list in my Contacts. I…

  11. Please make deleting messages from a specific sender easier.

    Please make deleting messages from a specific sender easier. Something like Micro***t mails "sweep" feature. Sorting, searching, then clicking box after box to select messages to delete takes forever. Cant I just select one message then have an option to "select all from sender" then delete? With the sorting option it allows me to group messages by sender by I still have to deal with clicking every single message one by one so I select the messages from the one sender. Its time consuming. Please make it easier

    Please, change back basic classic mail. Please, don't fool the consumer. Many consumer complaints. Kept saying feedback do nothing and get high salary sit in the cubical and play the computer games and talk talk talk. For Yahoo mail software guys and your mother company Verizon.

  17. I do not want to have to get a phone call just to open mail

    I do not want to have to get a phone call or text just to read my mail, just because I cleared my cache. This is too much - how can I change my settings to just sign in with my ID and password - whether I am at home or on my work computer?
