Again..yes switching back to basic I am able (and as it gloriously was) to type one letter in the (TO) box and all the addresses pop up for me to chose ...wonderful..but again i do not get the extra conveniences associated with the newer versions(not this extra new one from Jan 10,2016.

Fix Yahoo Mail so attachments can be used 3/20/15
AGAIN YAHOO MAIL will not do attachments when sending messages, fix it or stop your mail completely so users won't get so frustrated - been using Yahoo for years and it keeps getting worse every time you do a GREAT CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yahoo mail is infuriating!
Yahoo mail has asked me to change my password three times this past week and has failed repeatedly to send my outgoing emails due to "suspicious activity". It fails to send them after forcing me to enter a captcha for every email to verify that it isn't spam and each email has only one recipient, not a very good spam idea you idiots! I have spoken to someone on the phone and emailed customer service repeatedly about this issue and continue to have service interruption that is costing me important meetings. I also hate the new version of the mail…

I would like to have a code sent by text to enter when a pw change is attempted.
Upgraded Security. I had my email password changed without my knowledge and a code sent to my phone already listed would have prevented this. I would like to see this additional security step added when a password change is attempted.

If you would just go back to the old colors and letter styles, maybe the new version would be okay!
If you would just go back to the old colors and letter style then the new version might be acceptable to us! The new colors are hard to pick up and tend to look like neon colors which takes longer to use. It all blends together.

get rid of the account key
Go back to a password only. I cannot be texted as My phone does not work when I am out of the country , which I am now and every year about 3-4 months. The key is a pain **********. I have been with yahoo mail for at least 25 years and am very much considering leaving.

I don't want the new ********. I want my older, classic e-mail.
Bring back the older, better, classic setup. And stop changing anything. You don't need to look like Outlook/Hotmail or even Gmail. That is what I see yahoo doing, copying other e-mail, and they need to stop, and stay unique. I don't want to look at one e-mail and forget what I am looking at. This new stuff, and hitting shift-k to mark messages as read is utter ********.

Please help us get back the previous version.
Help! We switched to the new Yahoo Mail and didn't like it. We tried to switch back to the previous version that we had and got Basic Mail. We wanted to land in between, which is where we were. Please help us restore what we had. We think that was Classic Mail. Thank you.

Regardless of what you do, your user name remains. How do I delete that? Security issue.

Ads
You charge company's to put Ads on, then you bombard us with those Ads and then you charge us for taking the Ads off but not entirely because we still see some Ads.....you act like your doing us a favor but what you forget is that we didn't ask for the Ads to begin with! Really....NOT in my world! I'll stick with Classic and that way I don't have to deal with STUPID which is most Advertising now a days!

Put my email back to the way it was this morning!!!!!! I did NOT ask for the new version and the "Basic" version now isn't what it was.
not only did you switch my email to the new version without my consent, but when I switched back to Basic, it still isn't the way it was this morning.
