  1. New Portfolio View Is Terrible!

Can't sort by change % and save order, Can't enter multiple symbols like before, can't check off symbols to be deleted like before

  2. Move the market info back on top where it used to be.

You are covering up about 1/3 of my portfolio info; is very frustrating to scroll all the way down to move it over and then back up to check notes and then down again. Bad, bad design--use some common sense!!

  6. Lock in Headers on Portfolios

Allow us to freeze top header row of Portfolios, so we don;'t have to scroll to top to see what a column is?

  7. Portfolio 2.0 dividends displayed incorrectly for some stocks.

For TEF.MC some previous dividends are counted in twice. There are duplicated rows for one dividend payout with a one day difference (e.g. Dec 15 and Dec 16 2022), but it is actually one payment.

  8. Why are you messing with the portfolio pages? The old style was so much better. These new attempts are unusable.

Why are you messing with the portfolio pages? The old style was much better. These new attempts are unusable. I can't do basic things like rank unrealised profit/loss, % increase. It is so messed up it lists multiples of positions for no reason. Its truly awful! Please just stop! The older 2020-2023 style was so much better, we could actually track our positions on it!

  9. PLEASE Keep the Classic Yahoo Finance Website!!

PLEASE keep the Classic Yahoo website. It's simple, straightforward, and easy to use. The new site is way too busy, choked with data and graphs (TMI), and you have to trip over too much info to get to what you want. In short, we hate it!! Thanks.

  10. new yahoo finance sucks. keep the classic and let users choose

keep old classic yahoo finance. the new one sucks! it is slow, cumbersome, laggy and works poorly on mobile.

you will lose users if you force them to the new portal

  11. zero cost

I want to add buy transactions at zero cost in portfolio 2. I prefer to handle reinvested dividends in this way and could do so before, but portfolio 2 now insists on a non-zero value. There is no reason not to allow zero cost but the transaction save button is disabled if it's zero

  12. Feed my response below. It Ani't Broke, so stop trying to get cute, to fix it.

As a older retired personal financial self planner, I have been using YAHOO, for awhile now. I find that the present Yahoo Finance MEETS MY NEEDS. No fancy charts, or graphs, or table, etc..That I DON"T NEED,OR WANT. Just PLAIN, and SIMPLE. I put in symbols in, I build a watch list, and your system shows me all I need. What has happened here, is ONE MORE TIME, a bunch of computer Geeks, get involved, and start screwing things up, TRYING TO BE CUTE. Leave what you have ALONE. Whatever happened to COMMON SENSE??? IT WASN'T BROKE, SO DON'T TRY…

  13. Notes do not display in custom view

If using the "Notes" column in a custom view, the portfolio view only states how many notes there are. Hovering over "1 Note" does not give an option to view the note, but only gives options to delete the holding or add a lot. Entirely disfunctional!

  14. Portfolio 2.0 stinks

The old system was fine; used it for years. The Portfolio 2.0 has some 'neat' features but it's not worth the lost functionality in the old one, specifically the ability to edit individual fields in the data as the user might want, not limited to your ideas of what might be useful. I've already deleted all mine and will move on to something else.

  15. Congratulations ! Your transfer of my data to the new "enhanced" portfolio format has effectively rendered "My Portfolio" useless.

Lost all of my manually-entered data (trade dates; high limits; notes) in the transfer to the "new" product, and apparently the new format has no function to edit existing portfolio data (if there's an edit button, I can't find it).

Plus, how hard would it be to use a static information bar at the top of each portfolio, and allow users to scroll left-right without having to go all the way to the bottom of the portfolio? Those are long-standing issues (as REAL, not imaginary, improvements) that you never bothered to fix.

I've been a customer since the late 1990s.…

  16. Best portfolio tool was 1998 .

It’s been down hill ever since. Lost all my basis information in latest version.

In 1998 it would show total dividends at bottom column. Total basis, sort by any column, etc , etc.

This latest version makes it useless. Lost tolerance for all declines

  18. Return to the long standing daily posting of the major indices across the top of the Finance home page, horizontally.

Return the posting of the major indices as a horizontal line at the top of the Finance page. Return to the long standing Finance format.

  19. Blow up the new 2.0 and allow older format

New 2.0 is a useless disaster. I get cash dividends and like to lower my cost basis as received. There is now way to do that now! This is an awful "Upgrade"!

  20. Remove this column from the right side and put it on the top again

You changed the portfolio view AGAIN!! There is now a column on the right side with market and portfolio, trending tickets etc. Please remove it and leave the data in the upper part as it was. With the column on the right I cannot see all the columns of my customised view. Terrible. Stop changing the portfolio page all the time. Nobody needs it, it is just annoying!
