  1. Sadly, the extremely useful Holdings tab information is now deleted in 2.0.

    Missing functionality in 2.0 eliminates its utility for me. It is the functionality in the "Holdings" tab. In the original, the columns were Symbol, Shares, Ave Cost / Share, Price, Day's Gain, Day's Gain %, Total Gain, Total Gain %, and Market Value.

    This Holdings tab was hugely useful; the user could sort on any of these columns. 2.0 Holdings is worthless. I must click on each stock individually with no ability to sort. Maybe okay with a small portfolio but very disappointing with a larger portfolio.

    If not corrected, I will abandon Yahoo 2.0. I am miffed because AOL…

  2. Please stop bothering us with new Yahoo Finance, I'm not interested!

    Nobody asked to change the existing Yahoo Classic Finance. Please leave it as is. No problem with the the new Yahoo Finance as long as you CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE EXISTING YAHOO CLASSIC FINANCE.

  3. Can't revert to Classic

    So Apparently neo_opt=0 doesn't mean jack $hit because no matter what I do including purging my browser settings cookies and using a different one I am consistently being presented with the "new" aka. slow as "f" and attempting to emulate a garbage put every article in a tile at the top ideology.
    Old yahoo finance? Awesome. Everything's right there, no intrusion, and live video with watchlist on the side. and FAST.
    Perfect.

    So now I don't even get the choice? If I can't switch back and WORSE am forced to use this abomination of charts instead of classic I'm off…

    We still can't get the portfolio totals while viewing the portfolio. Move the totals into the portfolio view or lower it to the bottom of the box above the portfolios. The diversification table takes up too much space and causes the portfolio total not being able to be seen one on screen.
    I still can't see the portfolios totals on the screen when reviewing the portfolio. Add it to the table or place it in the bottom line of the box with the performance data. I shouldn't have to scroll to see both on one screen.

    When I make a print out of my Portfolio page, it does not automatically print the date.

    Also, "Cash Holdings" does not allow an explanation or location notation.

    And "Day Gain" is somehow including update of previous additions to stocks as a daily "Day Gain" even though it was a past action that should be inclueded in "Total Change" !!!

  11. Yahoo Finance should revert to old version that works

    Recent change to graph should be reverted to a version that works. Do not like the new changes -
    1) too much clutter on screen
    2) When viewing stock in graph mode can not change the date range at all - only shows a 6 month range and clicking on any other date range, such as 3 mo or 1 yr does not change the date range on the graph itself
    3) Too much content on page for Yahoo Finance to be usable on iPad devices - almost useless
    4) I am searching for a more usable tool, such as…

    Your liberal bias comes across in every discussion, from Rick's liberal perspective on issues, to the invited speakers, to the articles presented. You've done nothing with a very important economic issue-how Biden's spending after our Covid economic collapse drove inflation, killing some banks, and taking a huge amount out of standard-of-living.

    Dear Yahoo
    can you please explain why every article about Kamala Harris is positive and everyone about Trump is negative?
    Why do you quote the NY TIMES, the HUff Post and CNN and not the Wall Street Journal or Epoch Times or others.
    Seems very biased to me, I have been with Yahoo for many years but your partiality is Flagrant and very unprofessional
    Love to hear your spin on this and please don,t tell me you are symmetrical because I have run data analysis on this

  19. Keep the choice for using new or old Yahoo!Finance

    I don't like the new look of YahooFinance at all, I personally prefer the classic one, so please keep the option to choose whether to use one or the other. I have alway used Yahoo Finance and now it's a matter of habit and above all, practicality.
    Many users like me don't like that you change and update the graphics of products that we always use every day... not everyone likes changes!!
    So please always keep the option to choose and customize instead of doing like many companies that updates without asking.
