Phishing
I just got a Phishing Scam email from purporting to be from Apple....and it was not, then I find this cannot be reported any more. There is a giant difference between SPAM and Phishing, we want the function back as I am sure it would make Yahoos job easier. Also our online safety.

I agree... Phishing is not SPAM and Phishing is more critical than SPAM i.e. Yahoo should focus a greater effort on Phishing than SPAM. I get a lot of emails pretending to be from Apple and PayPal. Yahoo should be able to recognize that when an email is sent stating that it is from PayPal but the email address is not from PayPal.com and it contains a link or attachment with a link then it is Phishing. Please add a Phishing option.
Related to this issue, Yahoo needs to stop hiding the 'actual' email address on it's Android app (I'm guessing Apple as well). When I receive an email in the Yahoo Mail app on my Android phone all that I see is an icon. Most people will not be aware that if you select the icon it shows the 'actual' email address. Without being able to see the 'actual' email address, a lot of people are going to think that the sender is who they're pretending to be. Please start listing the 'actual' email address of the sender in the Yahoo Mail app on Android and iPhone. -

It's not enough to be able to mark emails as Spam - all that does is allow you to delete the existing emails and block the sender (as long, of course, as they don't just change one character in their email address, in which case it's all in vain!). We need a one-click way of reporting phishing emails back to Yahoo! so you can improve your spam filtering and so on. It can't be rocket science, surely? I mean, even Hotmail - with all its faults - has managed to do this for years. I just get the impression Yahoo! couldn't care less about protecting its users from scams. It's not good enough.

exactly. when people use your service to send fraudulent and scam emails, the least you can do is give us a way to report this, and hopefully have you block them and/or report them to authorities. it is very frustrating not to have this option. simply deleting or sending to spam does nothing to solve the underlying problem.

We can't even report it. Nobody wants to take the time to investigate these crooks. My scam pretends to be Publisher's Clearing House and they want me to give them my personal information.

Reporting fake/phishing/scam emails has become very cumbersome to the point that I'm ready to give it up. I used to be able to right-click from the spam folder to forward; that option is gone. Also gone is any forwarding option from the menu bar. I have to first move the offensive emails from my spam folder to my inbox, then forward them to the email abuse address, then set them as spam again in case Yahoo decides I really want them in my inbox! It's too much work for something that used to be fairly simple to try to put a stop to the crooks.

Received a phishing scam reportedly from Yahoo (lacking icon and obviously fraudulent) and when I tried to report it, there was nothing obvious. Searched help and the instructions are not relevant...there is no arrow button to choose selecting Report Phishing. As the initial post states, I can ignore spam but when I get a phishing attempt, that's much more serious and a lot of ignorant people may fall for it...the sooner it's reported the faster something can be done about it.

Why in the **** would you remove a reporting tool? Do you not compile a cumulative list of spoofed e-mails?

Why can't we report phishing scams anymore? Not feeling very safe with yahoo these days!!!

I always report Phishing to the real company the phony email is supposedly from. Fixes it way faster than Yahoo does. So report it to Apple.

How do I forward an email supposedly from Yahoo saying my account would be deactivated?

Why is fake (phishing) mail identifying as Yahoo getting through the spam filter? What could be easier for Yahoo to catch than email calling itself Yahoo that isn't from Yahoo? Yahoo should know its own addresses. Using my browser, I can spot it by holding the mouse over the sender to see the actual address, usually Comcast or something as stupid, but there's no mouse on my phone. If there's a way to check on the Android app, I haven't found it.

LMAO! They censored the word S. E. X. out of my message, yet they let the "group" message me with that in the header a couple times a month.

I rec'd a msg "my Yahoo acc't will be terminated if I do not respond, coming from Yahoo. It is NOT from Yahoo, how do I contact you about this? I have tried multiple times to no avail. And while I am here, how do I stop getting "Group" notifications? I receive them about some weird *** group a couple times a month.

Give us a button to report an account, not just block it.

There are spam and phishing features on your web interface, seems that we have an issue related privacy, until you fix it I will not change my security settings.

when deceptive PayPal and other emails are going to or Inbox, it seem your SPAM filters are not working. Now blatant Phishing emails are going unchecked???? as there is no tag to report anymore.
