Extend column for list of folders. Need to see titles not just a few letters. Too Short as it is now. That is why I liked the Classic better, could read my list of folders better. Thanks.

Most of the left panel of folder name is truncated, and I use my PC on an ultra wide screen monitor with lots of screen properties wasted... please fix this, simply let us adjust the folder column width!

Widen the folders column

The new format has expanded the list as 'double spaced'. I preferred that the folder list in the left pane as 'compressed' like it was in classic mail. THIS REDUCES SCROLLING and means less effort on my part. HELP!!!

Allow adjusting the width of the LEFT PANEL - Otherwise, most of my folders, with longer names, CANNOT be read!
It's very irritating to have to roll-over on each folder and WAIT for the pop-up to show its full name!

What is wrong with Yahoo Management and the IT department? They make changes to Yahoo Mail that are supposed to be new and improved yet the changes make Yahoo Mail less usable than the previous version. The New Yahoo Mail folder column is now so narrow you cannot read the name on the folders. In fact the previous (old) Yahoo Mail was only marginally better than the New Yahoo Mail. The New Yahoo Mail folder column only shows 7 upper case letters or 10 lower case letters of a folder name which for the most part is useless. The New Yahoo Mail now allows the creation of Sub-folders but the feature is useless if you only have between 7 and 10 letters you can see in the folder name. Plus each subsequent sub-folder created shows one less letter in its folder name. If you create 7 to 10 stacked sub-folders the letters in the name would not show up. Although that is unlikely to be done it still makes sub-folders not a usable feature. I sure hope Yahoo Management and IT group did not pat themselves on the back for creating the new sub-folder feature when users won't be able to tell what the folder and sub-folder names are.

Column Width Adjustment Control for Folders needed!
Well, I can see these comments go back well into 2017, so my issue is not a new issue. It can't be that hard to accommodate the need in some way. Please give it a go!

I have over 100 folders that keep me organized for my business. Many of the names of the folders are now so truncated that I don't know which folder they are because have similar names to the ones before and after them (i.e. "USATF M. . ." where I have "USATF Marathon," "USATF Masters," and "USATF Masters Indoors"). Please allow us to change the column width or provide options for a larger folder column.

I can't see all of my folder name. Every app on my loaded desktop allows this, except Yahoo mail. Why is this product so primitive? Please allow column width customization.

Yahoo, you really need to add this feature. It's not that hard to do. I should know, I'm a web developer. I've been waiting for this adjustable folder pane for YEARS now. YEARS!!! What are you doing? Why won't you make this simple UI change? Obviously, a lot of people want the ability to adjust the folder pane width. Please make this change.

THIS IS ESSENTIAL because limited width is time consuming and frustrating.. I might move to another provider otherwise, thanks

The left column is too narrow. I have MANY folders, now I can't read hardly ANY of the my folder titles.. This is Degradation of service. I hate it.

I have the same problem and it means that search results only show yahoo as the folder and not my folders, probably because the column is too narrow. So I will probably have to revert to the older yahoo.

Yes. This is a deal breaker for me. As a fatter of fact... if you ever decide to force us to use the new layout and not have the option to revert back to classic, I will begrudgingly have to switch to a different email client after 15 years. It is essential to be able to customize the width of the folders pane and the email message width pane when using the "Right" view. The folders pane only shows about 8 characters... this is not sufficient. Many times we use a prefix such and Customer - Xyz so that all pertinent folders are grouped together. If we can't see the Xyz then what's the point. It seems like it would be a simple change in the code because the classic mail works perfectly. So for now... it's classic for me.

Please tighten up the space between folders a little so that more folders can be displayed without scrolling. Also, the column should be wider to accommodate longer names and display sub-folders. It would be great if it was user defined or flex space.

The updated version of Yahoo Mail takes away a feature that we had before. This is not updating. Most of my folders names are truncated to a partial name... The Folder column is TOO NARROW!!!
Re-enable column width adjustment for folders by click and drag of the mouse.
The updated version of Yahoo Mail is going backwards.
