Attachments are not downloading

i am not able to download my file from yahoo mail. I am using this on Macbook pro & browser is safari & chrome.
I forward my mails to my gmail id then i get may attachments download.
Try to solve this issue ...

    Download option for attachments need to be available while the mail is open. Saving/download of thumbnail images will not give the correct file with size and pixels.

    First off, it is not very intuitive - You have to know to hover over thumbnail to bring up the download arrow. I think it would be better to have a visible download link without having to hover to see it. Also, when I click on the download arrow, sometimes it does not download or is lagging, or something. If it is lagging, maybe there should be a message saying it is downloading or to wait or something like that.

    Have also problems downloading attachments every now and then and they are not very large between 60 and 180 kb. Today I managed download a few attachments and now not anymore.... no error message... am stuck in Yahoo.... . Solution: forward emails to gmail and download from there which I don't think should be the way forward. Downloading from gmail no problem at all. Smoothly. Am using Chrome but looking here the problem occurs on every platform and browser.... Please solve the problem.

    my issue is that I could not see there was an attachment until I saw on my mobile device
