spam
You need better spam filters. If I receive a legitimate email with bitcoin in the subject field, this is always followed by hundreds of spam emails related to bitcoin. Same for dating, any legit online dating emails are immediately followed by hundreds of dating spam.
I also have Gmail, and that never happens in their system.

Have had a lot of success with Spamcop.net since realising that Yahoo have no adequate mechanism for dealing with spam, or even enough scope for blocking addresses or domains. Was getting over 30 a day from a particular spambot operation, but over the past 28 days I've had none from them and just 5 emails from regular spammers. It took a LOT of reporting though, ugh.

What happened to my "Spam" folder? I look at it every day, as often there are emails in there that are NOT spam. For years, it averaged about 50-100 emails, but about a week ago it dropped to about 5 per day, and for the last few days it's been empty. Makes me wonder what you did, and just how many emails I've missed...

Yahoo should have the capability of filtering out OBVIOUS spam, like the hundreds we got this week for various TRANSLATORS, all from phony gmail accounts and obviously from the same spammer. Isn't that supposed to be part of your function?

You might find a way to block those pop-up spammers/phishers who get on my screen every time I start a browser and visit Yahoo! email. I wonder how many of your customers actually fall for that spam?

Also, Yahoo is now sending to the spam folder emails from senders that are IN MY CONTACTS LIST. Obviously, if they are in my contacts, they are not spam. Please stop doing that.

Yahoo email is horrible! I get more & more **** mail every day and it's not even sent to my email address!!! These are examples of the email addresses showing up in my inbox: xqkb@yahoo.com, uyce@yahoo.com & ht49@yahoo.com. I keep blocking this junk in the inbox & in the spam folder & it keeps coming. Hundreds per day.

Making easier to get rid of SPAM should be as easier as Forward, Reply, Move etc

When I open the spam folder and check the spam, I check to block the senders and delete the spam messages. The system gives me confirmation that first the senders are blocked, and secondly that the messages are deleted. However, they are not! The messages come back and I have to manually delete them for them to disappear.

Spam filtering is non-existent. I mark things as spam AND set up a filter but the same domains still get thru. I just did a check and every filter that I set up and marked as send to "spam" box automatically changes to "inbox". WTH???????????? It is looking like a scam to get people to pay for the pro version. Sorry but I'll change to GMAIL before that.

I have sent 2 requests to block info@realityread.com. No response from Yahoo. I have put it in as a blocked address twice. All of the other addresses I have put in have been blocked, not this one. Is Yahoo is bed with these people????

I get about 20 spam a day. Tried to block using the three dots and click on Block Senders. Acts like it is working but doesnt. So I must go to settings, hit Security and add to the blocked list one by one. Stupid way to do it. So many clicks to add to the blocked list one by one. Get this to work the way designed.

Blocking spam emails is not working!!! despite of adding emails on spam folder to block list and choosing to delete all emails from those senders, spam emails reappear after a refresh of folder. :( . please fix.
thanks,

allow a way to block spam from certain domains. Been getting an unusual amount of different topics, all with the .eu domain. I can block each individual sender, but there should be a way to block ANY email with a .eu address.

I have contacted Yahoo A few Times About Blocking Spam, I have done what they have suggested, I have started receiving even more Spam after Blocking the Senders, My Email is loaded with Spam now. The Same ones everyday, So Blocking Senders actually made it worse. Now I have to spend more time sorting through my Mail. It just does not work at all
