Cannot set the colors to the color I can see best. The royal blue was the best background color for me. Do not like this stupid change.

Revert to old (pre 2019) mail interface. New interface is awful and looks like unprofessional trash: all fonts are smudged, buttons are flat and with all that there is a waste of space

As plenty of users have already noted, the new format is terrible. So is the fact that my account was switched to the new format without my permission. Stop messing around with my account and restore it to the way it was.

There needs to be an option for longtime users to switch to the "Classic" version that is obviously more comfortable for many of the users who have commented their disdain for the "new" look thus far, myself included.
Please implement an option for "Classic" Yahoo! Mail.

Yahoo is not being forced to change formats, so it's outrageous to tell the nearly 20,000 unhappy users who are complaining here, that Yahoo "must unfortunately retire support for older versions" as if the decision makers at Yahoo have no choice. The only ones being forced into anything are the users, not Yahoo!
There's so much wrong with the new version. I've only used it for a few minutes, and already I've hit interference:
Just hovering the pointer a bit too close to the addresses, and my contacts pop up, and obscure what I'm reading. And I absolutely hate the images with initials for each of my contacts, which take up space unnecessarily, are distracting, and have nothing whatsoever to do with the people they are supposed to represent.
Great to be able to widen the inbox to be able to read it, instead of the ads, but as soon as I scroll through an email, the inbox defaults to the narrow version again. I can't even read a single email without that happening.
And particularly obnoxious is when I open an email from a vendor offering me a sale or discount for something. Yahoo now tells me what all the previous offers are in a new pane above it. I do not want Yahoo adding extra advertising to the advertising I receive from vendors I do business with. Yahoo should not be 'reading' the content of my emails, and certainly not interact and respond to the content with additional content! Seriously, what's wrong with you people?!
Some of us have older computers, that do not allow us to install newer browsers, and on those systems Yahoo now forces us to use a 'basic' version that is completely illegible and unusable. Not everyone is economically able to keep up with all the new gadgets. Yahoo's "upgrades" make Yahoo services inaccessible to the poor, as well as many people with disabilities.
Forget the "support" for older versions. Give me back the previous version without "support". I never get any support from Yahoo anyway!
I've already stopped setting up new lists on the completely dysfunctional Yahoo Groups, and plan to move the last ones I have elsewhere. It looks like I'm finally going to have to leave Yahoo altogether. Reading email shouldn't be this much of a hassle. Yahoo used to be an excellent service, but over the last decade, with various new management, it's become increasingly unpleasant, and downright impossible, to use.
I'll give it a few days to see if Yahoo decision makers come to their senses, but if it stays this way, I'm done, and I will join the many people who are abandoning Yahoo for good. It's going to add to my workload to make the move, especially since Yahoo eliminated POP access to download messages, and is forcing me to reconfigure my mail client. I resent it, but in the end it'll be good riddance. There is no respect for users here.
